Act I'm just planning to have 1 new HP. My main concern is the camera and the multimedia stuffs such as video, color and sound. And I plan to buy W800. But when I go to the HP stall to take a look on this phone, I find that the key-pad area is made by rubber and obviously it will get dirty easily. When I ask this question to the sales person, he answer that the dirty can be easily removed using the cloth which come in a package with this HP. So to those who already own this HP, any idea or opinions regarding this problem?
My second question is about the key-pad also coz I find it is difficult to use/hard to press due to it is made by rubber type. So, any opinion?Thanks!

Hey guys...been thinking alot recently whether i should get this phone.
I have heard that this phone gets dirty very easily...and when its dirty, it looks really ugly.
Any comments?

yes you can play them loud.
they arent extremely loud but loud enough to listen to!
turn the volume up???

just bought my w800 2 days ago and THIS PHONE ROCKS..!!
i happen to have one question...
can you play loud mp3s without the earphones attached?? i tried playing them without the eraphones, but the sound is barely audible...
guys, i really need your help...

hey bubbles,
W800i only support video in 3gp or mp4 format. you have to convert your wmv file to either of these formats first before trasfer it to your phone. and you have to change the video size to 176x144. All these can be done by using video converter. you can download this 3gp or mp4 video converter easily from internet. there are lotsa converter out there. one i could think of is xilisoft. Just go to this link...it's not free but u can run it on trial;

Once converted, make sure you save the file under video folder in your W800i.

HI.. I´ve just made up my mind about it, a three days ago I didn´t know about w800 and I was looking for a phone with mp3 and a good camera resolution, I was about to buy D500.... and I crazy about it and thought that never would appear a phone that could overcome my expectation about having a D500 BUT a friend of mine introduce me to W800 and then everything changed... I fell in love with this phone, it rocks and I started imediatelly saving money to have mine and I will throw a party when It comes true... it wasn´t love at the first sigh but as soon as I got to know more about the w800 and read the articles here and the specifications I couldn´t help myself.... I´m gonna buy this Phone.. THIS WILL BE MINE... I´M LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT DAY

I've been using this phone from 4 days now and im loving every minute of it! It has everything u need and can sync with your computer perfectly. I would have to say this is the most precious non-human thing ive ever owned. Love it, go and get it with closed eyes!!

can anyone help me pls? there's a video i really wanted to put into my W800i but i don't know how. it is in a .wmv format. is it possible? or should i resort to playing the video in the computer then shoot it using my W800i?

Sweet! Best phone ive ever had! I really like the fact I can easily drag and drop my .JPG images using the "file manager" programme, and set these as wallpapers, screensavers etc... It basically means you can totally customize and tailor the phone to your needs/style.
MP3 playback is good (not as good as my Philips MP3 player,but only marginally worse - I mean, c'mon- its a phone, and because of this fact can be let off, but it is overall a really really crisp sound). The best thing is that using the "Disk2Phone" software for transferring the files is unbelievably quick and efficient......all in all, I would say "Buy it goddamitt!" (The camera also rules! Wahey!)

who cares for mobile videos... the mob. videos of all phones are useless without to see it in 640x480 mode in pc... if any phone comes with this mode.. then it is best.... these latest camera phones are selling due to pictures,mp3 songs and tones only... not for videos..... anyhow - i am waiting for it's black version....

very bad in video mode! not comparable with samsung D600 or N90. video files not usefull .

hi verybody... this is a very very nice and good features phone.
i (malaysia) just have it for 2 month.. n now i've come to this problem... n i would like other reply also i they r facing the same problem...
actually .. do u guys noticed the orange round rubber in the center of the joystick?
ok take a good care of it ...coz it is really really easy to come out.. this happened to me last night. n i can't put it back.. so without the nice-touch rubber in place the joystick is no longer comfortable to use.
i just email SE through their web.. whether they gonna replace it for.. me.. if not.. i will be a major rajor drawback .. for a high end phone to use cheap-easily spoilt material...

Got to be the best phone on the market by far at the moment,its got everything you need! Sound quality is great with the head phones that come with it and its got a large memory to hold a lot of songs too! the software is easy to use and the battery seems to be holding its charge longer than my previous phones (nokia's,motorola's) you can get your battery level my pressing the switch on the right hand side of the phone and that tells you how much charge is left in it % wise!! Well impressed,shame it has to have the same name as our rubbish england manager but apart from that 9/10

ok guys here is the deal.....i basically bought the phone for the audio and the digital camera thinge!
the sound quality is excellent....nearly that of the apple i pod....the loudness is good too..believe you me its tons better than the s 700i mp3 player!
i have stored 79 songs on it.....i listen to it everyday!
believe me....its a very very good mp3 player...youll be in for a shock once you hear sound this good coming from a cellphone!
the camera rocks too....in simple words w 800 i is the best phone money can buy at present!its makes your life.....excellent'e!

i have it for 2 weeks now...its awesome the best camera,nice video recording,nice sound,nice design,nice coulour,large memory capacity,radio....what else do you want?
