another difference is that you can play ur music even when the phone is off...so it's good when you're travling on the plane or something and you have to have ur phone off...you can still play your mp3...this phone is so wicked and cute!

you always forget to mention the cd ripping software and the earphones. lol! those are some of the differences of the k750 and w800

If someone has some questions about this phone, first read the other opinions!
The difference between the K750i and the W800 is the bigger memory card (from 64mb for the k750i and the 512 mb for the w800).
The sound option are a lot better and it has also more options then the k750i. You can also play music while playing games, sms'ing or doing something else with the phone.
It has also a longer playing time.
And also a difference, is afcourse the colour. (duh)

Everyone seems to mention that the only difference between the k750i and this is the shell and the memory stick.
Is the mp3/sound hardware any different? I can't find it anymore but I thought I read that it was better.

the 10 secs is for mms.. start cam settings and change setting to high quality video ..

Well i got this phone(the best of the best), and the only problem is the video.u can only record 10 sec.
WHy?anyone knows how to record videos more than 10 sec?
use the full capacity of the memory stick to record videos?

the reason why i wanted to expand my K750i's memory is that i want it to be as cool as W800. My dream phone is really w800 but i got tired waiting for SE to release such phone so i bought K750 instead which is already available in the market last June.

i have just bought my K750i last june, and i wonder if i can expand its memory duo plus from 60 mb into bigger capacity, whichever is available. is it possible guys?

Riff, just flashed to w800. The walkman software is easier to use than the 750's software and you can use the music player without the phone on for flying or to conserve battery. That's the main difference. I'm finding the 800 software a little better. The firmware is newer.

Just got my 750 flashed to w800 by kingmobilephone dot com and after being a nokia man for years. Nokia should prepare for their demise because the 750 or w800 Sony Ericsson is the best phone on the market. Between the walkman software, 2meg pix camera, ease of use, ruggedness, huge bright screen, light (that you can use as sos), voice recorder, email, calendar features & just plain easy of use & organisation if perfect & effortless. I was on the way home this evening & snapped a picture of a rain bow over Green park, came home, downloaded & emailed off to mom in NYC. I also run in Hyde park & have been using the walkman software which allows you to perfectly switch between receiving (or mostly rejecting) calls, emails, sms all at the same time.
If you don't own the w800, get one because this phone is a life changer. And if you own an ipod, those days are numbered also because once the memory gets boosted on sony ericssons game over for ipod.

I agree with Kenneth. What is all this walkman thing about? The k750 can play music as well so what is the exact difference between these two phones?

guy on ebay upgrades the k750 firmware to w800 . so you end up with the w800 features..

i have a D750i and it is exactly thesame except for the bigger card you can transfer everything (including songs from cd's) if you buy a bluetoth port like me it is much better than the whole usb thing.

no thats not the only difference. it also has the special earphones. plus it can get songs from your cds to your phone unlike the k750.

can anyone tell me wat does walkman mean? does it support windows media file format?
if the walkman means mp3 player, wat so special about it? doesnt most of the current mobile support mp3 player? wat music format does this phone support? coz it is just say walkman media player--->????????????????
