I am Nokia 6230 user .. isit w800 have da louder voloum campare to sek750i ? my own brother using da k750i and i can feel out da volome from da sek750i is very loud and clear .. but there was a problem .. se product famous in laggy .. nokia and samsung will dun have such a problem .. anyway i am comparing w800 and motorola A1000 ..
Guy go check about A1000 motorola .. i think u guy will love it very much with it dual 3g camera ..

    This phone is certainly for performance not for show cause The Walkman function is really cool, 40 channel of sound , 262K color diplay, included 512MB memory card and a 2Mega Pixel camera is excellent eventhough the coming soon Motorola E1120 has a 3Mega Pixel!The only weakness for this phone is that it don't have 3G. If it's below USD$540 it's worth to buy.

          Mean this phone is the best of the best!!! Sony has got the upper hand in the market.

          Too bad though its so expensive, i will probably buy the K750i. Thats ok too!!!

              it's a great phone... but why is it so expensive??? $600-$700 USD !!! it's only $520 USD in HK... look at the sonystyle HK site...

                hi guys i was planning to buy this phone when it comes out dubai ,but 1 of my friends a k750i owner told me that videoDJ and photoDJ applications are not available in this ohone is this TRUE? i am a nokia 7610 user and i really like phones equiped with such applications.

                  i prefer this one to other ones.
                  i could not find it in iranian market malgre its status "available".
                  looking forward to cooming soon: "Sony Ericsson mobile with 5 MP camera".

                    Look guys i own a k750i and u kno what i think. These Nokia users are jealous. I mean i would be if i was a nokia fan. Thank god i am not. I have bought 5 SE fones in a row and i plan to do it later on also. Other than SE i like samsung's flips but they allll look alike. SE rulz.

                      K750i's batterie is Li-Po which is way better than W800i's Li-Ion. How comes their life are both 400h autonomy and 9h communications ?

                      Another question, how long to charge the batterie full on w800i and K750i ?

                        Oh C'mon everybody knows that Nokia died when GSM appeared. Nokia were the greatest phones ever but when TDMA was the newest technology!!!. For me there are no more phones than SE and Motorola in GSM.I owe a SE k700 and I can say i haven't tried the SE w800i but i'm sure that everything that Sony Ericsson produces it's back-guaranteed that it's purest quality.And if you're a Nokia GSM user (it doens't matter what model of nokia you have, all of them are crap) take it to your nearest SE Dealer and see if SE dealer have some mercy of you and changes your nokia 6600i for a simpla SE t106 i can say the SE t106 will work much better than the "greatest" nokia 6600i[ja ja LOL :-)].

                          I had been using SE products since the inception of GSM in Nigeria. Meanwhile, a month back, I decided to try Nokia 6600. Now, I am delighted for this product (W800i), I can not waite for it to be Launch in Uk market,because I have asked my wife to place order for it.
                          I think this will be a super phone for now.Meanwhile,SE should improve on their look up from the phone book just as Nokia phones does.

                            OOOh. this looks good. only just got samsung d500 tho. will prob get this on upgrade,, bf has just got k750i, so i know SE is good,,, Have always had Nokia before, but having just gone through 3 6230i's, all faulty, i went for a d500.... tempted by this one now....

                              - 32 MB internal memory - Worser

                              -1.3 MP, 1280x1024 pixels, video (QCIF) - WORSER

                              -Up to 300 h -standby - Worser

                              -Up to 5 h - talktime - Worser

                              Overall: w800i Truimphs over 6230i by FAR. Everything is better Quality wise. they both have mp3's but what mp3 quality is better. Sony walkman specilise in AUDIO, i dont see nokia making mp3 plays and cd players speakers and hi fi's.

                                Where does SEW800 and K750i made from,guys?
                                If it made in China, you won't get the same quality as it made in Japan. Like...battery will have shorter life, screen resolution weaker,camera will have poorer image, phone built will less solid and quality! That's how the phone get to sell cheaper. Sonyericsson should only make in Japan that way we're all get the best out of it! Don't you guys ever try to convince yourself that made in China and Japan the same thing! Yeah, same name but different quality! KEEP THIS IN MIND! I rather pay $100 or more for the version made in Japan.

                                    Man, the best phone is Nokia 6230i not this stupid phone! bla bla bla. a comparison from those phone:
                                    nokia 6230i: mp3 player, 1,3megapixel camera
                                    se w800: mp3 player, 2megapixel camera (and very good Battery)

                                    nokia 6230i price: 350 $
                                    se w800 price: 600$

                                      yes i was just wondering in the above link image. does the w800 come with this? so we can connect anyheadphones we want, because i prefer to use my own sony headphones.

                                      So is it an extra or does it come bundled.

                                        Official Release Date For W800i In Australia Is: 15th August.

                                        Thats currently 17 days away.(today being 29th July).

                                        Ive got mine ordered.. ill be picking it up on the 15th of August :) *dances*
