I have just one question, What is the difference between the SE W800 and the SE K750?
I live in america and i have a nokia n-gage and I'm just itching for a new phone... so i was checking around and im very interested in this phone but.. I really dont know what the difference is? Could someone tell me?

I have the sony K750 and the Nokia 7610. Sorry to say this guys but as the design goes this phone is dull. My N7610 gets more attention than my sony ericsson does.
Don't get me wrong, i love my sony ericsson and use it every day, but as design goes this phone looks like the cheaper t610. Mind as well just get a iPod for MP3's.

w800 is avaliable for pre-order on sony online store in hong kong, which will be delivered on 8-11/8
it takes HKD 3980 (abt USD 511), a reasonable price while compared with k750 (which takes HKD 3680)

It seems SE has released its Chinese Version as there is no longer coming soon tag against W800c on its website.

9-HOURS OF Talk Time?
400-hours Standby?
HOW COME THE BATTERY LIFE IS THE SAME AS 900 mah LIPO ON K750? As far as I always knew Lipo is twise stronger than Li-ion. Then, 900 mah Lipo on k750 , I can understand can provide 9hr talk and 400 standby. So, how the heck 900 li-ion on w800 provides exact the same life time?

Nokia phones are too simple and lack good design sometimes. SE has it all, and they are not complex once you start using them day after day. Anyways people dont mind complexity, as long as they can handle it. That's what technology is all about.

well i wanna no cause i saw a website that says that you can get software and make it so its has everything that the W800 has eg like the logo and start up menu and the music player how the phones tured off and you can play music so it saves power
thanks guys please sum1 tell me cause the W800 costs heaps morea and i like the K750i better.

My name says it all,
ive had a total of 8-9 nokia phones, this year i finally got a k700i and boy it was the best decision i have ever made.. i cant wait till w800i comes out because i already gave my k700i to my mum,she said herself it was better then her samsung and nokia phones, she sold all her previous phones now she is happy with the k700i because she finds it really easy to use "it feels like im using a computer" which she really likes. If my mom/mum says it TOP then its true.... your moms/mums are always right.. Now i cant wait till i get my hands on the w800i - as soon as it comes out all mine ;D woooooooo go se ( btw orange is my favourite colour it will match my car )

Hey Remi u must be on drugs because SE is a damn good company. I had 4 se fones in a row. SE z600, k700i, s700i, and k750i. The only reason sony doesnt sell as much is because US carriers dont get most of the SE fones. Nokia is a sell out. They will reach to any heights to sell some fones. I am not hating on Nokia but they come out with the crappiest desgin for fones. There are some nokias which are good but not as good looking as SE. SE offers both design and features which is rare.

Hei Remi!! WTF u are talking about? SE is far more tehnologycaly advanced than those crapy Nokias & Siemens garbages. I have K750 and soft is very stable- by the way I have first software version and I don't even think to upgrade it. So use your crapy Nokia and dont fool other peoples...

Yes, it works in the US. GSM 1900 is for here. BTW, as I know, W800 is more like a MP3 player or walkman. But k750 seems better on camera features, cuz it has picture editor. k750 seems high quality, but w800 has fashion look(tho its ez to b out of style). sigh... hard to make a decision!!>"

man i really lik da w800...but i hate da color...iwish it wuz red instead of orange...and the keypad color is red too not orange..if enyone can get dat for me email me...

hey sarah i'd say you're probably going to commit the gravest mistake of your life if u go for this brand. sony ericsson is just pathetic and the market position of 5th place amply proves it... software problems would be the order of your day if u choose any of these hideous hand sets...
