This phone was the worst desision I have ever made!!! I purchased it on the specs of the phone:- Battery Life, storage, Camera. I have had only problems with it:- It changes it's ring tone by it's self, Turns the sound off, The joy stick only lasted 6 months, and the camera has stopped working. The only good thing is the storage came with a 512 mg card. DO NOT BY ONE!!!

yes, him accpted Memory stick with 8GB.
i have one and works very well.
with 1200 music
150 or more
15 videos +/- 130 min
and 2GB for others things...

Somebody please help, how do I download music from my W800 onto my laptop. I connect the phone to the LT with a usb cord but the LT does not pick up the phone. Do i need to download any software? please direct me to the correct software.

i've been using this phone for over a year with the newest firmware on it. minor problems that aren't too bad are stuff like the camera just turning on sometimes (from the shutter slightly opening in my pocket), and the rubber orange thing on the joystick came off ages ago (makes games kinda annoying).
in terms of use, the phone is GREAT. this is prob the best phone i've had to date, and look forward to the w960 in Q4 of this year. the shutter on the w800i's cam is great, keeping scratches and crap from screwing up the lens. autofocus, flash, burst mode, and various great cam features made me happy over the many months of use. picture quality is great although in low light there is some graininess and minor distortion. what do you expect? it is after all, a phone.
mp3 playback is great and the little external speaker is quite good for what it is. i've had the pleasure of annoying countless people with playing music on the speaker.

Finally !!! A LockPatch / You Can Lock Ur Keypad Wth A Password :)
guys, i have found this, a software to lock the password for the k750/w800 and probably for the w810.
please please watch the video on U-tube to see that there is really a program that requires to enter the lock code in order to use the some applications...

the w800 joystick works fine, i play games frequently, and my joystick is still fine after one year. but my friends had to repair his k750 joystick 3 months ago. We bought the hp almost same time and he too is a frequent gamer. so i guess w800 joystick is more durable then the k750i one

my sweet sweet sweet ex phone i m really missing it toooo much.. i kept this fone for one year and i dont no why i sale it and bought w 850.... this fone is way better than w 850 i really love this phone and now i m buying it again w850 u go to hell i want my sweetheart back.....

w800 is U.S or world wide release, w800i is europe release while w800c is china release.. their all the same i think? all i know is this is a great phone

use the software that came bundeld with ur phone...or u cant download the drivers for free from the sonyericsson website!maybe that helpd u

hello i got my w800 like a year ago but the house charger broke and i have no way of charging the phone excpet through the computer except my comp isnt excpetin the phone what so ever and i cant charge it! any suggestions on how to get the program to identify my phone?
