I changed my mind guys im not taking the W800i special edition anymore..instead im taking the K750i Special Edition, cuz i dnt like the orange side of the phone it kinda looks childish and not that elegant!:S
p.s. only differance between W800i and K750i are the Mediaplayer interface, the Flightmode capability(W800i) and cash($$$)...I am going for the K750i having it this Friday(shipping)

W800 can run W810 software not?can support 2GB card not?

Just upgraded from W800 to W850i. W850i the better walkman and bigr memory. However W850i bit fatter and camera not focusing well. W850i has sharper screen but buttons stiff, will maybe loosen up later.

i did a lot of surfing on the web for like hours and hours what was the best phone overall...by brand i found out nokia and sony ericsson.if you want a phone without having any problems with software/casing changing colour after continous use(wear)/money(nokia has the most expensive phones) go for nokia BUT if you like listening to music and so now and then take pictures SONY ERICSSON is by far the best.after searching for a good sony ericsson i found that the first Walkman phone(W800i) has a superb sound quality(even better then Ipod), a outstanding camera(2.0MP,4x optical zoom) for making photos specially with the optional MXE-60 camera flash, great display, sweet battery talk time/standby time and above all nice user interface; a big disadvantage is its video quality is low but what do you expect its a phone u cant hav everything above that i wont be spending much time making video clips with my fone...SO i chose for the Sony Ericsson W800i special edition as soon as i hav my phone im thinking of bying the MXE-60 detachable camera flash and W800i DOCK for my W800i SPECIAL EDITION(ow yeahhh)

Tis still the best phone around, great sounds decent pic and most of all everthing customizable, the short coming of tis phone is its small screen. froget abt n73me, i used to have it and sold it for tis phone cos i listen to mp3 all the times.

Good Phone been using it for 13 months now and i hav few complaints
1. screen is grainy when in fullscreen mode while playin videos
2. deleting a game from the games folder makes the phone reboot but from application folder is ok so if i want to delete anything i simply move to application folder and delete
3. i put in a 32mb card in the phone and the performanced dropped so do not put any card less than 512mb in the phone if u want to enjoy the usability of the phone.
4. camera is excellent even in a pitch dark room. although sligthly grainy but superior to other led flash cameras by far.
5. walkman player is perfect just that fastforward is not as fast as later models.
Overall good phone i love the phone wanted to trade it for a p990i or w950i but id rather add them to my collection instead of trading

em i bought this phone few months ago and now the joystick started to work worse when i turn it left. is it a sign of a bigger problem or would it be enough only to clean it?

This phone is absolutely fantastic. The king of modding along with the K750. With more modifications of my phone it is hard to let go. Hats off to Sony Ericsson this phone is the best. Maybe an upgrade to W810i is the next but as I said cannot let go off this phone...

changed from w550 to w800. got to say, w800 is superior to w550 in almost every aspects. Very happy with it. But after using for few months, i realize 2 major flaws in the w800. first, it cannot 'copy and paste' text like the w550. second, it hangs quite often when you try to zoom into pictures, almost as often as once every 30 times. So guys, am i the only one experiencing this? is there a way to solve it? some advice or comments will be nice. Thanks

it's a wonderfull phone that combines everything in this cute appearance. i wouldn't change it except with the w 81oi maybe.
