this opinion concern to d man says "i will not use sony ericsson anymore"...will, i guese d phone that u bought is not a genuine sony ericsson or it does not undergoe quality control or inspection.
if someone WANT TO BUY A NEW SONY ERICSSON, MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT IS ORIGINAL. A LOT OF CHINA PHONE LOOKS LIKE SONY ERICSSON.

34mb is the internal memory, im using 256mb in my w800, approximately I manage to load up to 70 songs, depending on the size of the song. usually 4mb. using 1gigabyte may load up to 250 songs...i guese.

erm, can i ask how big is the memory of this phone? im thinking of buying it and i want to make sure that i can store a lot of songs in it.

I bought this phone in Sept 2005. Within the 1st year warranty period, I have it repaired for 4-6 times, each time with a new problem, like auto-switching to camera mode, no sound, no vibration. Outside the warranty period for 2 months, new problem is flash by it's own. The Co. request for a repairing fee. I won't be a user for Sony Ericsson any more!

the camera is so impressive,w/ crispness and clarity, same with the 2egapixel cybershot...the only problem with the camera 8 doesnt have fast shatter speed. when u move while shoting, 8 makes the pic blurry. the video is pixelated, but good in zooming function. i like the megabass of is phone...one thing i hate in my phone is its joistick!!! 8s hard to navigate due to dust.

I think this phone sounds so good but really I have some inquiries about it:
1- The camera is it of cyber-shot type or ordinary one, I mean is it the same like that housed in K550?
2- About video-playing, is it capable of playing videos perfectly, meaning that it can play back and forward in the same video file?
3- Is there anyway to play Real player media on that phone?
Sorry if these questions sound silly but I really want to know about that phone before buying it.

I bought this phone when it first came out, so I've been using it for more than a year now. It's just been an extremely wondering and darling phone to use. It's well rounded, very capable, and does everything I want and need; so even though it's old I don't feel it's lacking at all. It's very user-friendly and flexible. I've also dropped it (even while walking) quite a few times and it survived brilliantly with only a few tiny scratches.
And to answer the question earlier, it does have flight mode.

Dear all,
W800 i is One of the best phones that i have used. Prior to this i had used 10 different cell of different companies as i wanted to have the best out of all. Currently i am using this cell for the past 11 months with out any second though of changing it.

this phone is horriable, i repeatt do not buy this phone, the signal is so bad. and its slow and the joint stick dosnt work very well

hi.
gud phone. using it fr the past 1 yr. cam n music at its best. battery like is also gud. runs fr 3 to 4 days fr me. overall more than satisfied.........

Hi Guys,if u like clear quality music/cam/video phone then W800i is a superb machine. I've used my W800i for 5 months now with no problem. I experienced the freezing problem @ d initial stage but not again after formating n upgrading d memory stick. I wish that the battery life is improved to take care of MP3 play time from phone direct. W800i is indeed a walkman. Go for it n make sure u buy original brand.

hmm I have w800i and i think that this is very good phone but i have it from last summer and i will bye another one and it will be Nokia N73 :]
