whatever happens to cellphone makers these days? they don't make exciting cellphones as they used to. all they do is copy their own products or copy other brands. i remember how i excited i feel when i first saw W800i. i said to myself, that is the cellphone i want, that is the cellphone for me. :-) i am right. it is the perfect cellphone for me. nothing beats it yet. cellphone nowadays aren't so exciting. that is my opinion. hope cellphone makers would be more creative. :-)

No you can't video caller ID, you probably could use a gif animation image though. but certainly not 3gp.

the difference is that W810 has EDGE but w800 aint got it.nothin else.

best phone in the world.it can whip any i pods axx if you have a better option than this phone then dont tell me. great cam n best sound function.acthung baby

As far as I know...NO it doesn't have videotone capability like d600 and 903SH.
I don't have any issues against you Mr. Graphic Designer. Nothing personal here. Just reacted to your way of expression not to mention you the first to say unpleasant phrases.

Can you set a video as the caller ID?
I used to have the Samsung D600 and I could take a short video and set it as caller ID for someone when they called.
Can you do that with this phone?

Hi, Excellent sound quality. There is no difference b/w W800i & W810i but shape.
W810i is much atractive.

Edge is the difference, Edge is like 60-150KB/s internet I think.. (Not supported in Australia yet) its like really new technology...

@monty : w810 has EDGE technology and 34 MB shared internal memory wic is more then w800...but ill prefer w800 bcuz it has a joystick for navigation...

sony ericsson w800i is nice 2 Mp camera Mp3 Walkman... nice very nice but i heard some said it has many problem....??? just upgrade the firmware... heheheheh

and why you think 95% phones and electronics items are Black/silver/gray? Is that to suit the test of few people like me or SE made this Orange one to suit a certain people like you and make a difference from the rest? Ask yourself. I'm not in a mood to carry on anymore. its worthless.

W800i in Orange is a marketing technique. SE made this as an identity for a walkman phone primarily, adding most if not all of what we generally need. unlike D600 and moto V3 that are made in other colors with just the basic features you will find in a phone today, w800i carry the "walkman identity" phone. they are all for fashion. my point Kal is why people like you are asking why a certain company won't make a phone to suit only your taste in particular. why not wait until SE might do it sometime later when users no longer buy this fashion phone. SE don't make phones only for the taste of "graphic designer people" who are not gay.

I recently bought a new K750i and flashed it to W800i. I bought a 2GB Memory card and when I plug it into my phone it suddenly freezes, I cant press any buttons and the screen flashes from white to black. It doesn't do this with the 64mb card it came with. When I remove the card the phone turns back to normal. From what I've read, people said this phone can use a 2GB card. Can somebody tell me what's wrong and help me out please?

yo leonine mek mi tell u something sir anti virus protection softwares are available for symbian phones so dont talk crap i got an n70 and ive used the play play music thingy that u call the se w800 and there is nothing to be impressed about apart from the battery life symbian phones got everything i can get a 2gb card for my n70 an play music same way an as pat an micce showed u the camera is not better just on macro shots i went on that site and it shows the w800 is dunce wen it comes on to colors so stop talking crap u zi mi trixi out
