Yes u can transfer songs from wma straight to the memory card (make sure when u rip the song tho it's in mp3 format) & yes u can watch movies on it...I have a couple of episodes of futurama on my fone-

i just bought this phone 3 weeks ago. it was quite expensive..but worth every penny. i have great expirience with mobile phones and i must say that this is one of the most interesting that i owned.the features are more that enough.however the phone did jamm once as i tryed to view a picture. and the software cd is useless to me as i don t need it to put music or pics on the phone.the memory card appears as a hard drive in my computer.great design...great features...a little unstable at times...overall a great phone by SE.

This phone is so cool!
My uncle says its a chick phone so all the guys don't buy this!
But, if any guy who has already own it go sell it!!! Other wise you should wear a skirt to match. This phone is awesome!!

i must say that the se w800 is a good phone but the nokia n70 is simple better bc of symbian and 3g an can do evrything the se can except play music for 3o hrs which is the phones main selling point but the n70 can hold jus as many songs with a 2gb rs mmc yes and the themes and stuff does look much more creative on the nokia series 60 symbian phones and avi is a big plus i would say that the phone that se has to compete with the n70 is the p990 and the se cam are not better wen talking still images only close up shots bc of macro mode and the video quality on the n70 is way way way way way by far far far better than the w800 with its with its ever so good looking MP4 video mode a big plus for the n70 and all those 3rd party softwares for the symbian i think se w800 is absolutely no match for the mighty an power running symbian os NOKIA N70

the w800 is a good music phone but can not be compared with the nokia n70 0r n90 because of 3g an symbian an they can both play avi files with ease through smartmovie program only for yea u guessed it SYMBIAN mobiles so if u got a 1gb card u can put a whole 700mb movie on and watch can ur little music toy do that "no" and for all u people out there talking crap that the se cameras are better check ur facts b4 u say that stupidness again go to http://www.camphonereviews.com an compare n70 to w800 and look at all the pics an then u can run off those lips of urs the only thing the se w800 cam hav is macro mode which is very good bc the close up shots look better but the n70 cathes everything better bc it knows the colors perfectly the site i mentioned will show u that and symbian beats all the little music play toy has to offer.

i really like this phone. it doesnt even compare to the v3 i recently broke lol.

some games are not supported by other phones like V3 even this games are java.

I cant use the internet with this phone on cingular service. That sux big time since play now, AOL AIM and other features are useless now.

And yes about everything I said yes is the best phone in the market but the only thing I don't like too much is the speaker the one on the front when call I think need more volume that my opinion but everything have it's good and yes is probrably the best phone in the market now and Buy this phone is better than Motorola V3 (any version)

I tried with like 6 different Memories and gets lag again so the memories are good
I remove with safely remove hardware and the same dcontinuos lag.
About the playback failed, I put it over the Disc to Phone and I tried any format, without the Disc to phone program like MP3, WAV, WMA, ACC and yes I KNOW THE W800i JUST CAN PLAY MP3, ACC and I KNOW THAT.
ANd tried to update but I can't , I had fully charged the phone(the battery) connected and i don't know but I Can't
if you want to saend some information about this phone it gonna be usefull,
And what did you think about change that phone for the K800, W810 or the P910 or P990 tell what you think.

Overall I am very satisfied with the phone. Great appearance, nice display, excellent sound quality, high picture quality, and a very good battery life. My only complaint is that although technically this phone is very good, it could have had better applications included (improved organiser and calendar, as well as a conversion software). So much though and care were put into the packaging and appearence of the phone, but little changed in the software; it would have been nice if the same effort was put there as well. The applications included are those that were included in older models as well ex.k700i. Also, as mentioned in other comments below, the latest firware should be installed in order to ensure best performance of the phone.

To all users -
mayb u all can try to to update the latest firmware to fix all the bugs with the older version of firmware such as problem with transfering songs ,problem with the phone cant recognize the memory card after u remove n reinster back,n also BONUS that the latest firmware fix the contact list means normally we only can find a person name tru just ONE alphabet after u update the latest version u can see that u can find a person name MORE THAN ONE alphabets.
