This phone can play videos :O like i mean the ones u can put on mem stick like music videos?If u can forget the Ipod Video im getting this so hard!

i use USB to transfer song to my w800. i do not use the disc2phone stuff. is there any difference? i think using usb is much easier..just copy songs or watever and paste it into the folder. disc to phone has alot of prob?

If you are transfering mp3 files to ur w800 you can only see the files on ur phone when you have disconnected it from the pc, they will not show up on the phone when is it connected.

Here is a tip for all you full screen buffs. tou can only view the full screen through the walkman option.. click walkman,, scroll to video,, select ur video and play,, once the vid has started select more and choose the full screen option. You cannot view the vidoe in full screen when playing it through the file manager.

To get the phone to be in video full screen mode or want to fast foward or reverse, you will have to go to the Walkman phone W program.
To get the phone to be connected with the computer, you will have to download the latest programs from the Sony Ericsson Official website. You do not even need the CD.

i just brought 2nd hand w800i n this phone really rocks n i put the mp3 equalizer full n volume full blast i cant hear whats happening around me or i go cycling n its powerful mp3 player i rated this beautiful phone 10/9 becoz small compact n light weight n people sony ericsson making mp3 phones fantastic n currently waitting for w900i for the price to drop connecting to sony ericcson

To Tach,
after transfering files from ur pc 2 ur fone, u should disconect it from the usb cable.. if nothing happens.. turn off ur fone and turn it on again instanly..

TO Thach..
What you got there is some bugs on ur firmware. You have two options to fix it. First is buy a card reader and use that card reader to transfer files into ur memory card. Second is to upgrade ur firmware with the latest software. Go to SE site to get these updates, hope that helps.

guy i have been troubleling with this W800 phone, i tried to transfer my mp3 to the phone using Disc2phone software, after it complete, i transfered about 20 songs, but when i check to the phone,, only one song, i wondering where is the rest,...then i use the drag file into audio file,,,but nothing in my phone either.is something wrong to my phone or what,,,send me an answer via my email

i have one of these myself and i must say its by far the best phone i have used. i used to use nokias all the time but sony have delivered the goods with this one, its perfect! mp3, 2mp camera, and bluetooth 2.0, and with fully customisable themes its the dogs!! (you can get yours through dialamobile)

well its a very good fone would like to have but is a very expensive fone.i hope rates fall down quikly to abt say 14,000 in pune so i cud have a shot at it

=_=! My battery has been getting worst and worst. My carpooler said his K750i can go on for a week without a charge. So, I ended up ordering a new battery. Hopefully that fix the problem. Overall, there is no problem on the W800i that i would die from. I really enjoy this phone.

I got the WAP settings from the SE site, but it still gives me a connection failure msg. Any clues as to how I can fix this?

the sound quality is as cool as it gets on a phone...and it plays even m4a and aac files...if u wanna buy it...dont read further...just go and buy it..

my friend just bought w800 last week. his hp hangs alot! the next day he went back to the shop and change for another one. the same problem occured. wat happen?

one thing i dont quite satisfy is that, this phone dont have stereo speakers. when i play songs (not using walkman) to maximum volume, the sound is not so good and clear. i compare the sound with w550. of coz w550 wins as it has stereo speakers. the sound is much more clearer and louder. but i stil love my w800. pic quality is GREAT. walkman is fanstastic! now the price has dropped. and its more worth it to own.

Just to let you all know the latest firmware update is now available via the Sony Ericsson website and via all repair centres. It fixes the black box in the menu issue, Disc 2 phone issues, and self updating aswell. The best phone just got better!

this phone is every thing you need from mp3player,camera with exellent flash,good quality head phones,and super style with 512+37=549MB memory.
in my opinion it is the best phone to Buy as it pay value of money..

I have that mobile and i would like to say that if anybody wants a mobile walkman W800 is the best.
