i used to use nokia all the time, but i fancied the w800 becuase of the branded walkman that comes on the handset, i must say sony ericsson have pulled out all the stops on this handset it is brilliant and definatly worth the contract i am currently paying for it, the phone is very user friendly and is fully customisable through the way of themes you can choose for it, i did hear that this only supports 2gb memory sticks, but i am using a 4gb that i bought on ebay and it works perfectly well, great phone, great mp3 player forced me to sell my ipod!! 10/10 definatly

Hving a problem with my w800i had it a few months now and i love it but recently it's started switching itself off. has anyone had this problem? if so what was the cause.

I Have the same problem as it is pointed on top my sony ericsson freezes when I press the walkman botton, I don't get a good reception as well as I get with other phones in the same area and also about the battery it does't even take two days without using the camera and walk man.

i have a phone w/ a built in camera but pictures doesnt appear i wanted to be. i decided to buy digital camera. scanning thru internet different type of phone with camera or camera alone. i tried to open diff. brand of phone... guess when i open sony ericson i found the one im looking for, not only camera but walkman as well.. the w800i is superb....the only problem is video so short, is der a way to increase the length.. pls reply..2ni....

Well the W800I freezes alot when you use feature's. But yes the faults..

Features of this phone are superb, but i would like to know the JOYTICK working. Bcuz in all previous mobile sets of sony there is a joystick problem.

to shoot video for more than 10 seconds, go to shoot mode and select high quality ...
just wanted to note that I love this phone, and SE support in the states is GREAT! (tho there is some wait time to get through, and I haven't sent my phone in ever), but accessories and battery issues, they have been more than generous and helpful

I have a question - I have Cingular service in the States and wanted to know if I bought this phone would I be able to send and receive MMS messages - as I have an unlocked RAZR now, and it doesn't allow me to send or receive MMS. If someone could please get back to me with some info on this - it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

hello guys.. i have the W800i.. i have a query.. well according to the review "The maximum video record length is only limited by the free space in the memory card. " right .. but for me i get to record only 10secods.. everytime.. y is it so.. i have full memory... around 300mb.. even then i get the same.. y is it so .. are there any setting or so.. to increase the recording size..
please reply me asap or email me asap..

i have just got this fone and am well pleased with it there is just 1 thing i have downloaded mobile games onto my pc but cannot work out how to get them on the fone. Any ideas?

You can use the Goldwave or MP3 Power Editor to increase the sound of your audio. Goldwave is much simpler to use.

This phone can play videos :O like i mean the ones u can put on mem stick like music videos?If u can forget the Ipod Video im getting this so hard!
