hi, i've set the settings on the phone via the 'sony ericsson support' site to use internet on my phone, but when i go to use it on the phone, it won't let me go in. A message says 'connection failed, check network coverage or data and internet settings'. does any one know what the problem is? ta.

Just got the phone, very happy so far, everything is great, even the reception here in Iraq!! can any one tell me what the operating system is in this phone?? Java?? I would like to get some games and stuff... thanks

yes,it does play videos in mp4 and 3gp format..u can always use a converter if the videos u have are not in that format..

I already tried to find but cant find any. If anyone has the link, please reply me. I can only find the nokia one, its very hard to find for this phone. I am not expect the video very good, at least okay to see. And I want the video playing in mp4. Thanks. Appreciate it.

i don't know about the speaker of the other phone but w800's quite ok..and yes,this is much,much,much,much better than t809 when u consider all the features..2 megapixel compared to 1.3 of the t809..and much bigger memory..fm radio(take note:u dont have to buy a particular type of headset for u to use it)..
the advantages of t809 though are:
1.quadband (i dont need it)
2.has the software for instant messaging
3.slider (not everyone cares for it though)
4.i think it has edge too but not too sure.

when u said entertainment did u mean listening to music,watching videos (full length music videos or clips), games and more?if yes,then u should get the w800..i have it for a month now and boy,im still infatuated with it..just found out about this software opera mini..i downloaded it to my celfon and surprise!i can view the actual website as if im using my pc..u have to have a wap service to use this though.i have tzones and i could not view a lot of websites using that.but now i can..just save opera mini in your applications or games folder. whenever u want to browse just go to that folder and u will be asked if u want to connect to the internet...another thing,if u want videos then u can download from limewire and just use a mp4 video converter so u can view the video in ur celfon..another tip for w800 users!(haha!)some of u guys probably know about this but i just found out about this a few days ago.if u want to take a long video then go to the camera,select settings,push ur joystick to the left so u choose the video recorder.then clik settings,then shoot mode,then choose high quality video..u can shoot as long as ur memory will allow....

If you have problems with disappearing songs, just update the firmware for free online and all your troubles will go away.

i just got this phone about 1 week ago n i have this problem, when i tried to transer several mp3 files to the phone by copying n pasting it in the folders, only some will apppear while some dissapear completely. I tried disc2phone and the same thing occurs. I'm using the 512mb scandisk MSDP provided. Any 1 have any idea what's the prob? Tq
