What software can the phone handle [games and such]? The phone looks great and of course it has some bugs.

w810i in the phil...software,video.. really sucks etc. if u want to buy this fone think 3 times my friend before u buy it and if u really want its up to you. ty

the default code for all Sony phones is 1234.
if that doesn't work,you'll need to plug up to a pc in 'File Transfer' mode and manually ddelete the Mem. Card Files.

So, you don't recomend the SE W810i?
Many people is saying that the W610i is better than W810i, talking about sound.
I'm about to buy W810i, but the people says and says and I don't know what to choose. I don't like the W610i design. If you know about other sound music phones(good sound quality, of course!)... well, tell me. Tell me about the sound of your W810i, that you are disapointed, bass is louder than guitar, for example? Can't you apreciate the guitars sound??!! Maybe too much people had the bad luck of buying bad manufactured products. In the other hand, there are too many people that is very pleased with W810i.
I don't know I was decided to buy it, you just tell me your experience.
And believe me, you aren't the guilty, the SE designers and bosses are the realy guilties, because they've taken your money, and they've sold you a bad product.

I have it for 1 year and a few months. The sound quality isn't that good, I keep hearing the stupid noise you hear when a TV cable doesn't work, something like phhhhhhhhh. I remembered the sound was clear in the first months...I might be guilty for it.
Anyway, with the headphones on everything changes, the sound is great. The battery lasts quite enough time.

My 810i is giving me problems...it hangs or shows white screen and then turns off and againg white screen comes and so on...
what could be the problem and how to solve it...its memory and phone was formatted/refreshed once but still same...can any one tell me what to do?/
also tell me how to flash its software and what things i need to do so??
give links for its software also..

Can the SE w810 accept a 8GB card? I don't need too much music, but just in case... I wanna know that. Maybe I'll buy a 4GB card, but someone sayed in this opinion post that this phone doesn't accept this size card, please someone answer my questions, thanks.

currently own a SE K700i, and I like its software. Can anybody tell me what to turn to next?
__SE W810i -good phone -expensive card(MS Pro Duo)
__SE K550i -probably has a better processor than W810i? -Cybershot software(meaning newer than W810's) -expensive card(MS Micro)
__Nokia 6120 Classic -stunning display -office -Symbian SO -bad camera -cheaper card(Micro SD)

Thank you. I already tried it. the image went ok. but just wondering, im using a 2gb mem stick hi speed, original sony, how come the picture is not ok, and the specs said we could insert memstick upto 2gb?!!! grrr... That's the reason i purchase a bigger memory, to keep M O R E files.

try to change ur memory card...
or save ur pics in the phone memory and then check..if the pic come clear in phone memory then its the problem of memory card.otherwise let the service center check it.

Im a first time user of se. My problem is that my camera which is suppose to be ok since its close to cybershot is not clear when i view it. it has yellow or violet lines, and the image is not a perfect rectangle(or fit to screen), sometimes the yellow lines almost cover the screen(80% of the screen is covered with yellow or violet lines.The setting are in normal mode. I hope i could do it by myself coz se in the Phil sucks! bad service for me. If i have it service i may not use the fon for weeks(base on my experience). So i just hope that there's a setting w/c have to be fix so the camera will be ok.plz help!

this is with out the best phone that i have ever had, i work for CPW and i have played with many phones and with is smart in every way.:) sony eric are so clever with the w810i.
i miss mine.:(

for the post below, IT DOES ACCEPT A 4GB CARD!!! Gosh don't people understand that??? ok sorry... ima little frustrated here people...
I have one witha 4gb card.. I wanted to put a bigger card but it doesen't accept it. so... o and can you lock apps?

i think the 4gb acceptance will be just a marketing strategies of the company but if the site says that w810i will accept 4gb i think you should check for it go to the store and try
to insert the 4gb its just simplest way to know
but i think go for the 2gb it would be enough for songs and images and other stuff but if you where a hard user go and check for 4gb and do not forget to tell to us if it is working good

I have had this phone for over a year and the phone is still excellent. Now when I'm using my Samsung U600, I still miss my W810, which my brother is using. I've dropped it a few times over the year, but it's still going strong. The battery life is awesome compared to other phones I've used in the past. I hope future Walkman phones (like W890) will live up to this phone.
