Hey Guys can SM1 advise if this h/s has a problem storing smses. I earlier had a Nokia and have inculcated the habit of storing my smses but on this h/s Even if i have a total of 30 smses (including the Sent Drafts and other folders) I am then unable to send of recv smses. Can SOMEBODY HELP me with it if there is any other option. I am loving this phone but the fact of no smses can be store is putting me Off.......... I kinda stored around 800 smses in my old Nokia h/s.............. Plz advise if any alternatives

i agree with u all..i was bought dis fone last week. i think this is da bestfone. but im very dissapointed coz even hav 3 speaker but the quality of sound very bad.. another funtion good..

i got a friend just like u. got mugged and he ain't buyin any other but W8101...
mine fell last nite...fell so hard that mem. stick popped out
when i re-inserted card, the music played better than ever. it probably just needed taking out for a while

i got one 9 months ago and its was as good as new bfore it was stolen last week,now am thinking of getting anoa w810.Its still the best mobile communication and entertianment has to offer for now.It was part of me.

Dont always blame the player if the music quality is poor. because if youre trying to listen to a music file with less than 128kpbs bitrate, then of course, the sound will be likely terrible. Better store music files on your fone with high bitrate say like 128 kbps at least, but likewise, the file size will also be huge so u better hav a larger memory card. 1-2 gig..

Pretty good phone, but...
I have owned one for about 7 months.
It stopped charging about 2 months ago so I took it apart and found massive corrosion on the "card slot" style pins and mating connector located inside the phone (the only two pins corroded corresponded to the same pins on the output of the outlet power converter). Hence, the "gold" plating is not gold (as it's supposed to be). I cleaned internal contacts between pc board and mating connector, reassembled phone, and charging circuit worked correctly for about 2 months (from then to now). Took it apart again after identical failure, and found massive corrosion on "gold" clad pins again, degraded past conventional restoration. I am now reading reviews for a new phone and not Sony Ericsson's apparently shoddy oversight of an engineering fundamental.
For those who don't know, gold is used specifically to prevent corrosion, secondarily maintaining conductivity...hence Sony got cheap and went skimp on the gold. Pennies less cost a couple hundred more...

i think u guys need to check ur sources b4 u judge dis fone. i have one and the spkr iz FAR from quiet.

head phone and loud speaker both sound are low, i think nokia 5300 sound is beater than it. but this phone is more strong from nokia 5300. if you wanna use long time than buy it and if you wanna enjoy more powerful music than buy nokia 5300. nokia 5300 slide also cool.

Ei guys, can you tell me about the w810's silver buttons? Are they just painted or they really are metal buttons? And can they be paired with a bluetooth headset? because it says here that it doesnt not have a Bluetooth with A2DP capability. Thnx

to ath, the light on buttons go off automatically coz it got ligh sensing function. it goes off when enuf light n wil be vr bright if in dark condition..try it..i've use tis fon more than 1 yr..i tin its the best fon ever..good design good function...cam works well..except the button after dropped my fon a few times its abit to press...the sound quality is good...good clarity...but not loud...the earphone is the best..now searching for new SE fon.. but at the moment vr disappointing..tis fon stil rocks!! except i wan2 use 3G...hav to find a 3G fon...anyone has any suggestion?
