..about EDGE..yes it makes a big difference if you are using the phone to connect trough the internet as a modem to your pc , or if you are using wap(internet for phone)..the edge thenology depends also on your gsm provider (edge-enhanced data ....:) .
k750i offers you gprs transfer that means max.56kb/s ..trough edge u get up to 220 kb/s..

@sh ,.. ur friend is probabile using themes..so u can change ur menu , or flashes..free themes for w810i u can find with google..there is a site called myw810i.lasky.net..or something like that..

to jhewhome: dude better buy this phone!!! i assure you, you'll love it! =) maybe it depends on your preference. 2MP camera is far better compare to other 2MP camera you'll find on other phones w/lot's of settings for better capture. walkman rocks w/megabass using the earphones; this phone is for practical people; btw i am using a 4GB memory stick. what more can you ask for such a small phone. just read all the opinions on this site and judge it yourself.. W810i rocks \m/, peace out

to lipi : you can't install any .sis file on your w810i since the phone does not have a symbian O.S; it can only install java files (.jar) it's a java phone not symbian \m/,

& honestly tell me what will u do keeping the 3000 sms in inbox!?! Is it really a big deal in keeping 1/2 months old sms there? this is valuless for me. cause 200sms in inbox enough for nyone.
As for video ya it's good but also it kills battery life twice as fast sp. in N95! Is that good?
In prctical ppl still like to capture a quality video so they still use handycam whereever they go. Capturing video through mobile didn't become famous yet like digital camera. Cause a mobile device cannot take place of a handycam.

N series r totally multimedia package in which it’s included a well browser as well as many other things. To improve it’s reciption they give almost everything! But K-series & W-series isn’t a total multimedia device. 1 is specially made for camera & another is for music entertainment. So now tell how u could compare K-series with N-series? Cause they r totally different in product & setup. If u compares K-series with N-series in camera then I’ll tell that Nokia is still far inferior from SE. Even in walkman. Cause it’s give thousand more better sound than N-series!
Another thing is almost giving everything in N-series, few days later it began to hang (!) & also it kills battery life quickly (using 3G, UMTS, WiFi, GPS etc.) In SE & other mobiles this kinds of problem didn’t arise much. So being the best didn’t means that it’s the best in everything!

@sa .. i have to agree with u on video recording capabilitys(i mean the quality)..till now nokia is still better than s.e (in some models)...but the 16 milion colour screen ..with an 860mah battery makes the 6300 a phone with a terrible poor battery life

Thanks for your suggestion but I'm just talking about available handsets,as for k850i is concerned,we can say it will beat Nseries on still imaging but what will you say about video capturing capabilities of Nokia & 16 million colour display in N95 &6300?I have a doubt that SE will beat Nokia,also SE handsets are weak in texting sms etc,& most of their handsets can't store more than just 200 sms in inbox,whereas Nokia handsets can store upto three thousand sms in inbox like 6233...

and @sa...don't forget..what's best for you..or me ..may be usless for other ppl...so "best" is what a phone can do for you..what you really use from that phone specs..
why having a gps ..if u never leave your house..or you don't have an internet conecttion (like u need for n95'gps)...

@sa .. for office apps u got the"p"'s (p1- with symbian 9.1, oiq3 ..p990)..that's are business phones that can measure with/or beat nokia on n series..i'm talking about fast moving oper system not like the n series..
yes for the moment the n95 has a better camera ..but ..let's see the k850i..the things will change :) and not in good for nokia..

I agree with you & I know there are some better Sony Ericsson handsets such as k800i,k810i etc...But can you compare the best handsets of Sony Ericsson with the best handsets of Nokia N93,N95 etc...?If ya then you will see the differences...

to install sofware in this phone put the file in the "other" folder through bluetooth or usb cable. then go to the "other" folder through mobile & u'll see install in the left hand-side. press it & it'll be installed. hope it helps u!

this phone good phone but lacks one thing like the design of the k750i it does not have assigned ringtones capable but it is in the settings of phone, the phone but does not work just like other wlakman phones .
