i have found the right program to convert the videos. You have been very helpful with all of my questions. This phone is truly the best in this price range. I wouldn't trade this phone for anything right now.

The problems I found in this phone so far is that, as I mentioned in my previous posts, it doesn't play aac files..which is a serious downside for me! that's one
Two is that the volume of the loudspeaker is too low..there's a very big chance that you'd miss some of your incoming calls when you're in crowded or noisy places..
Three is that when you use flash (animated) themes..navigating through the main menu becomes considerably slow..that's why I'm using normal (static) ones most of the time!
Those are the main problems I'm facing with the W810 right now..if I found other ones I'll surely mention them here

Finally i got it after weeks of patience, this phone is really great, nice camera(bright image with auto focus), very good mp3 player, simply great, i love it, thx 4 all ur advise.

@sew810i ... i know that free..would be good...but ,unfortunatelly ,in life nothing good cames for free..:).google is a friendly tool , try searching some other programs..maybe u will find a free one..due to copyright policies i can't recommand u to use a crack for that program :D or can y? :)

Finally i got the W810i, after long research & hunt for a good mobile
having :
- a good camera
- a good music player + FM
- Adequate storage space
- Not Heavy Weight
- Decent backup
- Not very expensive
- A good reputation in the Market !!
Having done extensive research, i shortlisted the following models
based on my "interest" & budget (12-13k):
Nokia N70M (12000)
Nokia 6300 (8700)
Nokia 5700 Xpress Music (12500)
SE W810i (12000)
SE W610i (~13000)
My search started with Nokia, as i wanted to use one of their phones,
having used Moto C201 for 3 years !!
Initially N70M looked a good phone overall with 1GB space, but when i
held it in hand, it was a bit heavy & ofcourse i heard that it is a bit
slow. These 2 points made me rule it out.
6300 was vert light & attractive. But Battery backup wasn't
encouraging.
At this time, i was confused between 810i & 610i and suddenly 5700 XM
came to my mind (while searching).
610i had an upgraded player + slim design, but i wasn't comfortable
using the keys. I tried this in a store & it was hard to type, similar
to the keys of K550i.
So i sacrificed this, even though i was fond of it. I wanted to get
this, having heard the popularity of 810i.
5700 XM had a different concept & a stylish (RED) design. Heard that it
had greater spped, music (& speaker) quality than 810i, but due to its
poor Camera Quality, i had to give-up.
Had Nokia given a better Cam, i would have gone for it, without any
doubt....the durability + user-friendlyness + Passion (or feel good
factor) Nokia has....
So W810i was the only one which scored in ALL the departments & has a
great track-record since 1.5 year !!
So this was my choice.
I am using it since a week now & i am happy.
So all those who are confused (like i was), just go for 810i without
getting stressed. You will not be dissapointed !!

I have found the same program that you are using to convert the videos. But i only have one problem now. I have the trial version. Do you have a site that will give me the full version . When i convert the video, it will only allow me up to five minutes. Please point me in the right directions to get the full version of this program (Free of Charge). I have some sites , but they want me to pay a fee for using there site.

@elijah --just copy all the contacts from your sim cards on to your phone ..than it will works (so you can use the phone memory instead of sim memory).to do that go : menu>adress book> options>advanced>copy from sim.
that should do the job :)

I need to know why is it, that when people call, the numbers that are in my phone book with their names does not show. It will only appear with the area code and the number.
Please help me.
So far, i have had this phone for two weeks and it works excellent.
One advise though, dont play too much games on your phone anf try not to save too many stuff on the phone memory, save majority of these items on the Memory Stick.

@demirell.. for that i have no solution :)try an official complain to SE officials..but i doubt'it they will do something..you will just have to accept the better "mp3" and ..the low quality"midi" format.
@sew810i ..i personally used the program called "Ultra Mobile 3GP Video Converter" and it works fine...but if it still doesn't work than it maybe a software problem ..and then u should go to some service or something and let them see what's the problem...by the way ..if u make a video with the phone , after saving ,it plays that video? or u can hear only the sound ?if so it has a software problem for sure..if not..it maybe a problem with your converting program..try another one..use google to find

to the guy who can't transfer his videos properly to the phone: just use the software included in the package to transfer files.. i think this phone is really great especially within its price range!

the w810i is a very capable and well stocked phone with multiple functions and well thought out improvements. there are solutions to most of these complaints being posted. simply read old postings or read those by zenyt. i will address just one though.
those whose mp3 or other music formats do not play loud and/or clear, check the level of compression that was used on your tracks to convert them.
you can compress to mp3 in mono (32kbs)which gives 14mb per disc or in stereo (56kbps through to 320kbps) which gives 26mb per disc through to 148mb per disc respectively.
these settings affect the quality and the loudness of your sound. remember that mp3 is just another compressable sound format with adjustable settings. please try to use them.
the w810i is a very beautiful and stable phone. it is not a disco hall so 'can' your negative and ill-informed opinions. talk may be cheap but it should not be valueless.

I want to buy a SE Phones.But first i want to ask your opinion.Which is better:W810,P990,K550,or M600.Second,i want to ask u all.it is walkman series had a best speakers among all SE Series?if i may ask,it is P990 and M600 speaker is bad for listening music.Please send ur opinion to me at stardust.black@gmail.com.Your opinion will be apreciated.Thanks once again
