i have had this phone for a about 1 month love it. BUT i want to know if there is a way to make the volume on the handset when you on the phone louder? |

Can someone help me.
I am trying to put videos into my phone. I have converted my AVI flies into mp4 . I still can't play the videos on my phone. I thought this phone can play Mp4 videos. My friend told me its the same as playing videos on your psp. Is Mpeg4 player the same as a mp4 files. All i get is the sound, but i can't see anything on the phone.
Can someone help me please

I have had this phone for well over a year and I still am not bored with it, its a fantastic phone which has NEVER given me any problems. I did get an E65 but I still carry my w810 simply for the camera use. To answer the guy below, I would upgrade it to a K810, its got everything that the W810 has and more except instead of a walkman button, it has a play button.

Can anybody tell me if this phone has three speakers or it is just faq grill and please tell me about its sound quality. please somebody email me as fast as possible cause i m going to buy this phone at the end of this weak.

ei Guys!! is there a white backlight for this phone? i prefer to have a white backlight since i have the fusion white w810i. I beleive SE keypads are intact that it's hard to change the backlight not like nokia phones. if anyone knows how to change the backlight please let me know. thnx =)btw I have a 4GB sony MS. I already used 2GB of it, there's about 10sec delay when playing a song but it won't happen when you go to the next track. i also noticed that the phone will start longer than before..about a minute.=) but it never hangs,it just takes time to read the M.S.

guys i have a w810 & i'm realy satisfied but i'd like to change it do you think it'll be better if i bye a w610,w880,k800?

in answer to demirell's second question I have to say that the aac ringtons can be converted easyly
jet audio cab be used there are more softwares too

awesome phone but there are three things lacking.
1). battery goes really fast.
2). the backlight doesnt off when your on a fall.
3). switch on the speaker when your dialing someone. you get a odd sound

The w810 is nice & small and the walkman player has a very good bass in headphones..it just needed a bit more volume to become perfect! I don't listen to songs on maximum volume anyway 'cause I heard that this could damage the nice headphones the phone came with :-)
But the utter shock for me was when I found out that the phone can't play aac files! I tried several aac songs and the phone just didn't recognize them :-(
I was quite disappointed because I have a nice collection of aac ringtones that I wanted to use with my w810 instead of the original silly ones!
and there's one more thing that really annoys me..how come we can't save the custom equalizer preset that we make manually?! isn't it enough that we can only add one custom preset?!! I'm really frustrated!

to use any kind of music as rington you should go to:
menu/file manager/sounds/
here you can see all the musics in your phone
then:
more/use as/rington

hi to set an mp3 as a ringtone, how is this done? i've tried downloading DRM packger then created DRM documents and still it didn't work. any ideas? thx

Everyone saying about W810i that is 100% true. Don’t miss it. I want to say some user techniques. We must cover camera because it is amazing camera. We should keep clean. I use small card board cover. Never use cello tape because accidentally it will paste gum on glass. Then it is very very difficult to clean. Cleaning camera – Never use sprit, thinner, aftershave ……. Take ear bud with one side water. Clean smoothly by water side. Then use other side. If you find big dust or soil first remove that nicely by piece of paper or soft art brush. There are some preset equalizer setups there. Those are not that much good for out speaker & earphone. While using out speaker never set bass equalizer to high because it will take much battery. And no point of increasing bass because the out speaker can’t perform bass sound (Recommend keep the bass equalizer to half). But earphone mode you must increase bass to high. Out SP mode – Bass-60%, next-60%, middle-60%, next-80%, next-100%. Earphone mode 90%, 70%, 50%, 80%, 100%. (This EZ setup is mostly common for all audio devices). If you use any cover clean once a week. Otherwise dust will damage housing cover. Use orbit theme this is fantastic, very easy to look fonts, battery save, also you can set display bright to very low. Battery saving ideas – using earphones are very much power saving than out SP, turn of the Bluetooth while not in use, no wall paper, low display brightness, reducing out SP volume, specially reducing bass equalizer, Using key lock, turn off vibration (not that much as everyone think). You can get good out SP volume if you keep on flat place (Ex: table…..). For best performance & long life always recharge your phone when it reaches low battery alarm. Do this at least ones a month. Never remove the battery when phone is on. There are two buttons to get damage easily. (Camera button & power button) . The Cam button have two pressing stage. 1- Half press for focus, 2- full press for take photo. Converting SW are available to converter video files. (Because phone video files can’t see others without proper SW).
