hi,
i would like to know if its a d-pad or a joystick that its using?? the review put it as a d-pad but its look like a joystick to me so its holding me back from buying it. btw, is there any heavy user of this phone out there? cause i wan to noe if the battery life is good as i am a heavy user and my current hp wont last me 2days b4 charging.

there is hissing in my w810i but it is reallya bit. i have to take my fone close to my ear so then i can hear the hiss otherwise cant hear it :). even on soft and clasical songs like Tere Bin by atif. u cant hear it unless it is close to yor ear

i can send practically anything to my phone using this website www.freeringers.net they let you make your own ringtones from your songs already on ur computer and you can also send pics,etc. but you have to pay like $8 for the membership

Your file for the MP3 ringtones must be at 128 kbps or less. If not, the phone will give you the error message that it is not able to use or recognize the file as a ringtone. If you need to convert the file to a smaller bit rate there are many free programs out there that can do it. I use MP3go128. Search that name and you will find it. this phone is great! my bro has a k750 and not much different but this phone feel so much better...iuse to own a k700 and yea i love sony

if your phone is brander or something it might not be able to use some mp3 as ringtones. my phone is branded by cingular and i cant use some mp3 as ringtones.

How do you make mp3 into ringtone?
I tried doing it through file manager > ringtone > more > use as > ringtone but my phone says that it is unable to do that. Is there something wrong with my phone?

its easy but i use 3gp since i think its a lil smaller memory then mpeg

I recently got this phone to replace my RAZR V3, i was a bit skeptical at first, cuz i love the flip phones, but after 2 hours i was convinced that it is a better deal, the features are amazing and the phone is so easy to use, i received a 1 Gb mem stick wit it so with a deal like that u just can't go wrong...sony ericsson have really outdone themselves with this product.

the battery life isnt that bad unless u play mp3 all day like for hours.... i play mp3 on my phone for like 30 min each day and i get at least 2 days of battery life.

Although the sound of this phone isnt DAT high as u wud expect from an ipod or som other mp3player but the sound clarity of this phone is crisp and clear..infact i wud say awesome!
I think the loudness problem shud not be taken as a drawback of this phone when u consider buying this phone..since the other features which this phone boasts of truly wont resent u..

battery timing.....WORST
hardly 1 day can be passed with complete charge....
other things....good enough..but one of the most important feature is battery...and its worst
