    What is there to congratulate Sony for? You seem to be impressed by the features of the phone, not the design. Congratulate Ericsson for doing a job if you're impressed by the features and Sony if you're impressed by the design.

      hi all,
      i have purchased w810i phone last week...it turned out to be an awesome phone..I had a bit confusion with nokia n-series n saw n71,n72 but none of them have the capability to beat w810i.

      In a mobile phone what we want is good features, gud music quality, nice camera.

      I have used 'Nokia's 3250 -the muzic fone' 3250 is completely rubbish neither gud misic quality (compare to w810i) nor gud camera n screen resolution is very poor...

      Congrate Sony!!!!for introducing such a worderful masterpiece

      Imagine when both sony's world class series walkman n cybershot becomes a part of a single phone......phone wud b launched in the coming months. this phone would be true wonder and rock the mobile phone world.

                  @defloco...

                  Have u downloaded already the mms/wap settings @ SE website? I think you will also receive something from globe...
                  To check this, browse ur fone and go to: messaging/setting/picture message/mms profile...it should be set to "myGlobe MMS"

                  @kantuterong pulpol...
                  tenks pre for the tips..
                  I've check 2gb MSDP in US (Fry's Electronics website in San Jose CA) and the cheapest is $60....Im an mp3 lover that's why i need extra memory....I will buy here in Phils or in US ( my friend is in US right now)..

                  Have someone here tried MMR-60 Wireless Music FM Transmitter ? Im planning this for my car and get rid the fast port/rca cable....

                    Question: How do I set mp3's that I transfer onto my phone, as ringtones. I try to use an mp3 as a ringtone, but it wont allow me to. Only 'midi' files seem to work as ringtones ???

                      I also have this problem...but i've figured out the problem...to convert video to mp4 format , all you have to do is change the setting of the converter(imTOO,YasaMP4).. set the Bitrate : 174 kb/s , Framerate : 15.00 or 15 , and the Frame Size : 176x144 (QCIF)...after you have change all the settings , encode the video...the mp4 will play perfectly in your phone..i hope this will help you...

                        Anyone can share any freeware that can convert video .wmv file to .3gp or .mpeg4 format which is recognized by phone?

                        i have downloaded the "Jodix free iPod video converter" to convert video from .wmv to .mpeg4, but when i play it on W810, i can only hear, there is no image shown, just blank(screen is black).

                        Thanks.

                              i have a question.. after i create a new playlist then it will go automatically to the file manager to add the file to the new playlist.. then when it is already in the playlist... if i will delte the original file in the file manager it will not work in the playlist..do i need to retain that original file in the file manager?

                                  I would highly recommend this phone for anyone looking for a phone with superb features and quality. A great addition to this phone is the light sensor. In direct sunlight the backlight gets brighter making it easier to see and in bad light the backlight gets dim and the keypad lights turns on saving power. The only problem worth mentioning are the speakers of the phone, they play pretty soft.

                                      I bought this phone a few days ago and guess what? I FREAKIN LOVE IT!!! After I took so long to decide I'm glad I did buy it..so far no problems. Excellent Music (Loud enough for me), SWEET Features, easy to use, VERY Good camera. The only thing is I think the talk time is a little less than they said it would be but the stand by time is very good.

                                        Purchased this phone from Lalawest with 1 GB memory card. The card is defective and cannot be filled more than 475 MB. Consumes more battery and I think the 512MB is what this is designed for.
                                        The rest of w810i is best as it can be.The speakerphone volume is more than enough..I dont know why people complain for low volume.Screen is bright even with 60% level..way better than w600i.Earphone voice quality is excellent.
