From the specifications page. You know the page you get to if you click the link on the left that says Specifications?
MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player
But it has to be AAC and not AAC+ etc.

I'm getting my W810i tomorrow... Can't wait! When reading this you see a lot of good and bad opinions. Let me tell you , I worked in the cellphone industry for 3 years, there is no perfect phone. You will always have some dislikes in whatever phone you get.
I like what I've seen and read about this phone - GO GET ONE =)

i am not able to play AAC format files in my W810i, can some one hlep in this how can i play this files. Does it support AAC format.

I accidentally hit the enter key. Anyway I upgraded to 1 GB of memory and I still haven't managed to use half of it yet. If you know nothing about technology or using innovative technology this phone is not for you, but if you have some tech knowledge you will fall in love with this phone.
The walkman headphones are awesome and the radio allows for 20 presets. The USB cable allows for super fast transfers and you can use the bluetooth to share music and pictures for free, but Verizon blocked this feature on their phones so beware if you have Verizon, but it works amazing well with Cingular.
The only negatives are you can't take pictures under incadescent lighting, and the battery life is no where near what its rated at. Make sure if you get this phone you let the battery die entirely the first time, and that means turning it on again after it dies the first time, and where it won't turn on again so run the battery down entirely after a full charge the first time. And there is no lens cover on the amazing camera.
I would recommend getting this phone on ebay because you can find the best prices, but just be careful who you buy from. Also I would recommend getting a plastic case or something to protect this amazing phone.
I would recommend this phone to everyone wanting a great phone, mp3 player, and digital camera in one device. Peace

I totally love this phone. I have had it since the beginning of June and I still can't get over all its amazing features. This is truly an all in one device. The speaker is absolutely amazing. The light is better than a normal flashlight. I upgraded to

go check at downloads.com
but i like aalok
it supports batch conversion of various dvd-vcd-mpegs etc etc files to 3gp/mp4

ive just got this phone today on orange and its awesome. my 18 yr old daughter has also had the same phone and is loving it! this is a great phone! 10/10 to sony ericsson!

Ya it has a light sensor, near the earpiece. it adjusts the backlight and keypad light as per the lighting conditions.. u can't deactivate this feature. :)

This fone is great!just got it a week ago and im lovin' it! just got one lil problem. I've downloaded wallpapers (jpeg files) from zedge.net and installed it on the memory stick but i can't seem to find and view them, but everytime i connect my fone via usb...it's all there!now i have to use my cousin's n70 to transfer those files via bluetooth and it works!any idea guys???

Got the phone about 2 months ago... Absolutely loving it, Had to deal with a samsung for 2 months after losing my T630... What a nightmare, good to have an SE back in my pocket. Has anyone noticed that the keypad lighting is sensitive to light? Very very cool. Try it for yourselves :) Well done Sony Ericsson.

what is the price range here in PI?
any feedback b/w sandisk or sony, or they perform differently....
For price, i think sandisk is less cheaper compare to sony MSPD....
