the w810 is simular to w800 but the design is better also there a few small differences between the two, but the w810 is great. i was going to get nokia 3250 but am glad i got w810

Hey Tarantula,
u told us the reasons for buying W810,then it okay.But this doesnt means that u must bitch nokia phones.Look,its a matter of personal choice.Everyone has some bad experiences with brands.
I also had a worst experience with my SE T630 & that took me back to nokia phones.So,this doesnt means that i have any kinda personal anguish with SE.I like P910.
This is what a matter of personal choice.

Hello my telphone fell an a rock and de display of de front broke does somebody know where I can buy a new front for my w810i? Or do I only need a new piece of glass?

My Reasons to choose W810
My 3650 experience was bad for sure, for me symbian S60 is the most mediocre OS for smartphone in the world, i play with P900 and i can say that UiQ is a miles better than slow and mediocre S60, but if you happy with your MEDIOCRE S60 3rd edition... its a pity but be happy!... reason No 1
Simply I dont want a smartphone. In other case i buy a touchscreen UiQ or windows smartphone, but no S60, for me S60 is the worst (I tell you this as S60 and UiQ user)!!!... reason No2
Im happy with my W800, no problems with this phone, and for sure in W810 case the problems will solved with SEUS (sony ericsson update service) simply... reason No3
Great quality camera and sound (better than 3250), better headphones, batery life and overall build quality... reason No4
And reason No5: i dont love bricks, 3250 is a BIG BRICK!!! and REALLY UGLY!!! and REALLY BULKY!!! buy a glasses, put your new glasses on and see 3250 with detail!!! is U-G-L-Y, in spanish: ES FEO, HORRIBLE!!!!.
When I say that twist part is unpractical its because a phone of such dimensions no need this mechanism, is stup*d put twist part... for what???????? and wait six moths, for sure your famous twist part are broke to this time, its innovative for sure, but innovative for what??????.
While SE W810 is well sized phone, for my taste is elegant, black and orange with classical design, dont like a colourfull, ugly, bulky brick 3250. When i carry a phone in my pocket i need the phone fit well and sense comfortable, i hate the feel that i carry a big heavy box in my pocket like my 3650 and the same case is with 3250.
finally: these are the main reasons to buy a W810 for me!!

is tht w810i hav chinese version later and when it will ..is tht w810i can switch off the phne when we are listening to mp3 like w800i ..

The SE bashing is getting very tiring and repetitive.
We know the BUGS that a few phones have. They are BUGS because not EVERY phone has the same problems. It's a new phone, what do you expect?
Not phone is perfect, and usually manufacturers are willing to make an effort to fix said problems.
Now someone give me a release date! :P

@Kuuchin - you mean on w800? I asked for it :) I hope so you meant in w800 the new theme is fine working :)
@Nic - I agree with you..
@VMJ - Yes,this is the reality.. the true about most of Nokia's phones,but the Nokia cult is too big to be damaged by "a few" opinions in forums,where is said clear and truely everything.. Nokia's market strategy and advertisments and etc. are too good,and logicaly they have so many buyers.. At least we now the true and buy not the most popular,but the best in the market for us,choocen by our view and understandings. For example now I think the w800 is the best purchace.. Fast falling price,one of the best camera,full walkman features,stylish unique desighn and colors(at least for me) and so on.. w810 is great,but for people with more money and for those,who don't like w800's desighn. Also I don't like the black earphones,but this is only my personal opinion. Overall both phones are more than great and great handsets for most of the users.

I ended up buying the buggy,biggy,unormal,vulnerable and slowest phones in the world, NOKIA.
I experienced many features of nokia and symbian os as very slow speed, virus, dark screen, bad quality of the phone and ...
Many times i checked my 6680 or 6260 for missed calls but i saw that MY PHONE HANGED.
Better take a look at battery life. NOKIA HAS THE BEST ONE, ha?
now i have a w800. I'm so satisfied. at least a normal design, good mp3 quality, the best battery life, very good camera and no bug, no viruses, no hangs, only 100grams and ...
what are you saying?
we are talking about a phone, not a PDA, ha?
i prefer liviny without symbian os but not miss my phone calls, not having viruses.

To w810/w800 owners: Can you open the w810's equilizer theme,but in w800. Both phones are with similary platform,it should be possible to start normaly the new equilizer theme from w810 in w800. Thanks in advance.

W810 would have been one the best phones if it has features like 3G,bigger screen,3.2 mega pixel camera,high screen resolution and a slide phone

I still cant make the menu change with the orbit theme, can anyone help me with this?
only the wallpaper and the background changes, but the icons are still full color, how can i make them look white with black background (psp style)

I just got the W810i. I live in the states (Colorado) and 6 out of 10 times the phone will drop calls, no matter how strong the signal. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if so have you found a solution for it. If you have any info regarding this please E-mail me...

BTW, "The Rock"... while u were all bosting about the symbian software in 3250, get this, the software DOES NOT support the previous symbian apps. So u have to wait for new ones, and even pay and re-register for the paid ones..... And dude.... Nokia DOES have good construction and all, but as usual, it looks like crap. Either way, the W810 only LOOKS delicate, if u checked the review, its said to have excellent construction. Nokia just made a very good name for it self, and I respect that, but they charge too much for phones that aren't that much....
