I just got this phone in Australia for $349 after signing up on a 24 month Vodafone Supercap. You can even pay off the $349 over 12/18 or 24 months with no interest. Next Mobile (07)3809 3833.

        Finalfantasy:

So you dont like the phone because its too small and you dont like the style? Thats it? Why did you buy it in the first place? If you want something bigger, get the W900.

Yes you can save text messages in your memory card. Dont be fooled by some Nokia fanatics who are trying to mislead buyers.

                Prowler,

Aside from the better screen and design, the W810i is equipped w/ a light sensor which controls the brightness of your phone on different lighting conditions for better display and battery consumption. Its headset and speakers also sound better than the W800. Phonebook capacity is now 1000. W800 is 500. It can also browse through HTML sites like smartphones. It also has the dedicated play/pause, ff and rewind buttons. There are only minor changes so if you're not willing to spend extra on these features, I suggest you keep your W800. Hope this helps...

                                      Dear Readers,

I have just bought this W810i phone but I'm kind of disappointed. I only played with it for a few hours now and I really regret this phone. I'm going to buy the W900i. Is there any one want to buy this phone from me? Just e-mail me.

                                      Thank you

A few people seem to have complaints with the unavailability of the firmware update via SE Update Service... There will never be an update through the website. The phone has a built-in update service. Make sure you computer has an active internet connection. Connect the phone to the computer in "Phone mode" and the update is under Menu > Settings > General > Update service > Search for update. If you have the mentioned problems, this should correct it. Hope this helps the frustrated/disappointed people. I've had both the K750i AND the W800i in the past. I got rid of them based on the volume of the earpiece; both were so low, especially when driving. The W810i has SIGNIFICANTLY improved in this aspect. The picture quality/screen quality does seem better than the other two predecessors.
