of course no such thing in dis world is perfect! i ask u, hu says this or that model was perfect anyways?!?! anyone told u that?!

my cousin has a W810 and i have a 3250, here's what i can say:
default settings on d 3250's equalizer are really bad but take note once u know how to PROPERLY adjust EACH BAND u'll be amazed how it sounds! my cousin (owner of W810) can't believe her ears bcoz her W810 is somewhat inferior in both quality and loudness when listened thru their respective earphones plus W810's soft loudspeaker has no match to 3250's loud and clear loudspeaker!! also, when she found out that i can search tracks by title, composer, artist etc by entering d first letters like wat u do in phonebooks she got jealous bcoz she can't do that in her W810 plus d fact that transferring files in w810 is a tad slow compared to 3250. another drawback of W810 is that it can't recognize eAAC+ formats, when me and my cousin compared how much MBs we've consumed she said i have 120 songs it consumed 400mb++ wyl i said to her i've got 280 songs and it only consumed 400mb++, she could not believe it and even tested my files and got more amazed when she found out that eAAC+ 48kbps files almost have d same quality of AAC 128kbps! W810 just have to keep on dreaming in playing WMA and eAAC+ formats! not to mention my cousin said that she has numerous bugs like non stop flashing can't take pics, screen becoming all white, it always hangs jus keeps on removing battery for that reason and said she's very disappointed with W810 and plans to have her money back! also she mentioned that d earpiece on W810 is has very low volume even when set to max plus d fact that d loudspeaker is quite low even when maxed out she keeps on missing her call and always experiencing dropped calls especially when she has a full signal strength, now that's strange! in the end my cousin regretted buying W810, she said its not worth its hefty price at all!

You NEVER listen to people like me, pacman and specially to nokiakid... pardon, viperkid. If for you isnt important WiFi, Symbian, etc. I recommended you the W810, and if you buy a buggiest phone (viperkid says it) simply update the latest firmware version over the air. All latest phones have this feature (including nokia). Remember that the W810 is built in the same plattform as the W800 (i have W800, im very happy with this phone) and I really doubt about bugs. I check others forums and people dont talk about bugs, only viperkid (nokia salesman)say it.

I have had both 3250 and W810i. Although I am generally a fan of Nokias, I found the 3250 to be inferior in terms of sound quality. The W810i had excellent quality sound, and much better functionality. I had no issues with dropped calls or call quality (in fact, the W810i - for a candybar phone - had excellent reception and call clarity). I also had no other bugs on the phone except sorting AAC files back to front. Other than that, it is one of the best handsets on the market.
By comparison, the 3250 is a very disappointing handset for me. It underperforms in terms of music and calls. I also find the design to be somewhat ugly, although (again) I am usually a fan of Nokia design. I hope Nokia improve their offering in their upcoming handsets.
If it was my money (and it has been...), I would buy the W810i without any question - I recommend anyone weighing the two up to buy the W810i. It is an excellent handset. If you are unlucky enough to experience f/w problems, I suggest either exchanging it for one with more recent f/w or updating it using SE's OTA f/w update function. I have had no problems with mine.

Im sure nobody will reply to this cause people write the most rediculous comments and questions on here, and most comments are ignored, thats why this forum wreaks and is weak, but my opinion is to buy the phone and take your chances that u may get one with software problems...
I got lucky and my phone works great with zero dropped calls, no flashlight problems, nothing..

W810 is perfect for u BUT a very BIG BUT it has astonishing BUGS, juz read d opinions of W810 owners here and u'll b AMAZED how many bugs this model has! NEVER listen to PcMan or to mr. spider Tarantula bcoz i've seen their posts and what can i say, they are HARD CORE BIG TIME sony ericsson FANATICS! if W810 has no bugs i'd recommend it to u BUT d BIG PROBLEM is, it has GENUINE software PROBLEMS confirmed by USERS! remember PcMan told u "Good luck" bcoz u probably also get a BUGGY unit! i don't want u to WASTE ur money and end up REGRETTING! get a better music phone NOT W810, u can try 3250, W800 or BenqSiemens or N91 if money is not a problem.. : )

Viperkid is a 3250 brick fan, for him this brick is the maximum expression and last generation of music phones, with top quality in all characteristics. Always says "Its a firmware problem".
But the phone is the problem, all reviewers sites (mobile-review, gsmarena, infosyncworld, etc) says this: 3250 HAS BAD SOUND.
He think sound is a firmware problem like imaging because the case of N90 with his mediocre CZ lenses, nokia correct the algorithm problem and photo quality increase almost the same as K750i.
But the true is: Sound quality is only a harware question, this feature cant correct with firmware upgrades or putting the best software, is only a matter of sound processors, you cant compare a PC with C-media sound chip with another with soundblaster audigy inside, the last one is the best choice for sure. Is the same case with 3250 and W810, simply W810 is better than 3250 in terms of sound quality and camera

@London I recommend you w810. N80 is much more expensive. Read some opinions from owners here and you will see this phone is astonishing. Good luck :)

don't listen to @viperkid he's Nokia fan,just look his posts in the 3250's section and you will understand.. As we can see most of the owners say thee is no problems,the phone is perfect,the best desighn,the best feutures,great display,batery and everything in it. The new,black earphones are superb,I thing they are better coloured than previous in w800 :) In w300 again they will be black as i know,but that doesn't matters so much.. w300 will be the next hit after w810.
@viperkid Why do you think as you said "UNFINALIZED firmware on that tested 3250"?!
Because one colour in the menu was different than todays models? Do you think Nokia will gave them unfinalized firmware?! Because mobile-review takes the models directly from the official brand importer,it's so easy understand it. Why do you think they have new models months before their market's start up?! So don't be st*pid,and don't write "don't buy w810,it have many bygs and etc.." when a lot of posts before is written it has no problems..Also the "in air update" support from SE,if you have a problem,for minutes you already don't have a problem.. that is the situation. You should be banned from SE's section. Go to Nokia's section and write how wonderful and N1 is 3250 and etc...ROFL.. Bye!

i DONT recommend this phone, it has too MANY software BUGS! but if ur willin to have a great camphone with flash and infrared plus great sounding music player with POOR music management BUT with problems as CONFESSED by the OWNERS in here, then buy W810. i recommend W800 or 3250 as a good substitute to this W810. though W800 has that stupid joystick and 3250 does not have infrared but has symbian OS and bigger screen physically plus a better video capture, they have NO major bugs like W810!

I'd recommend this phone then. I have found the audio quality to be excellent and the MP3 player easy to use. It fits nicely in your hand and has a good battery life.
I haven't tried the N80 but it looks a bit chunky.

I want honest opinions guys, im looking for a new phone on upgrade, well ive been looking since december actually! and im torn between the n80 and the SE w810i. im not fussed about having a 3mp camera and wi-fi technology etc, i just want a nice phone that is a good size and has a nice colour screen that can play music and will be reliable and strong. what do you people think?

mmm i don't have any problem with the camera flash, in fact i don't have any problem, just that the phone is so good and people hates me for that

To owners: Please tell me the official SAR information in your manuels. Because in the interent version of the manuel hasn't the exactly value in w/kg Also in sonyercsson.com haven't any information especialy about that model. Thanks for the help.

ROFL!!! Are you allright?! unprofessional review from mobile-review?! When they praise some Nokia's phone you would say their reviews ARE professioanl,but when they discover in great detail & fear review the reality about most Nokia phones(in that review for 3250 music features and potentiality and you say unfear and not professional review... ROFL Mobile-review`s team makes one of the best reviews in the net.. They are acknowledged from milions of people,brands and etc.. Why do you think they have phone reviews 2,3 sometimes even 4 months before those or that model come out in the market. Always without partiality and always fear equal comparisons netween models and etc. In the music review is clearly said why always Nokia's fans think that their sound quality is better,and always the Nokia is the best.. ROFL!
At the same time Nokia’s product received minimal mark for sound quality, when users did not see it. During the moment when they were listeingn to it and were able to see the phone itself, the marks were significantly higher. The reason for that is because Nokia’s brand is very popular and users are loyal to that. Their expectations of music phone are high and when they hear the actual quality, they believe that it’s just their faulty hearing, not faulty phone. Mismatch of sound and expectations leads to conclusion that user has something with his ears; he tries to hide that and give higher mark to the product. This is a clearly demonstrative experiment, which clearly demonstrates how percept of brand name grades flaws in realization of this or that function.
Now please! Shut up! Don't Expose and go writing in Nokia's section,there is a lot of your kind of person working about rising the Nokia's cult.. rofl
