You need the unlatching code from Voda or take it down the market.

This is by far the best phone that I have ever owned. I got it unlocked and unbranded, so it was a little difficult with setting it up. Especially since I'm in the U.S., and there isn't to much support for this phone here. I wasn't able to send text messages (I received them just fine) or get on the internet. And, it didn't come with an english manual.

I ordered it on Friday, received it on Saturday, and everything is working on it Monday. As you can tell, I am extremely happy with this phone.

I would like some new wallpaper though, so if anyone knows some good sites please pass them on. Thanks.

Thanks Cliff..i've already tried that though...it's not shortcuts. I thought it might be something to do with the internet or mms profiles. I think I'll have to end up ringing optus, it might be controlled from their end.

                            to danny,

try this step by step instruction and see if it works. go to the file, right click, properties, summary and then advance. check all the info is right. then plug your phone in and click file transfer on the phone., if the PC suite stuff comes up, just close it. ur pc should just open the phone memory folder by itself, it should then come up with autoplay and then a box should ask you about wat u wanna do with the J: drive. allow the autoplay function to read all the info and then go to open foler to veiw file, then go to MSSEMC folder, then media files then audio. then drag the song over and allow the file to tansfer. then go to the walkman mode and try play it. if it continues to not work i suggest you should try emailing SE or ask you network provider for a new handset.

Im on the old anytime 75 on vodafone, it was one of the singlepoint price plans. I paid £20 for the phone and then £3 courier charges.

                              to Mick

it is your operator gprs, i have Live! in the bottom left because i am on Vodafone. i think you can change it if u go to settings, general and then shortcuts, but im not to sure.

Currently I have a setup issue with this phone. In the bottom right hand side of the screen i don't get the "Menu" option which I think is standard. Instead I get a "MyZoo" option which is my carriers internet/gprs connection. I don't want this option and rather have the default but can't find out how to get the "Menu" option back. The phone came like this new.

any ideas how to fix this ?

Windows media player will rip CD's into MP3 format. Just check that this is the default as it may be ripping it in WMA format. That's all you need to do to have the songs recognised by the phone. If they are current CD's then the song title and artist should be recognised automatically.

However if they are older songs, then you need an MP3 Tag editor to edit the values so they look more logical in the phone. (otherwise they will come up as "unknown artist"..etc.

depending on the file type, just search on google. say wmv to mp3 converter or summin like that. check the manual for the list of suitable file types.

also, i was wondering if any of u guys know wat the suitcase icon in the top left of the screen means. i checked the icons list in the manual but it deosnt say anything about it.

                                        Thanks
