O2 have a release date of 20th March for the W810i.
I work for them, one thing I will say is that in my experience, release dates change. But the 20th March is the most consistant I've seen so far.

You are quite right EDGE, also known as 2.75G, although it has been deployed in a number of European countries - including Belgium, France and Poland - it has yet to make its way to the UK. However, Orange has just started rolling it out. It promises speeds between 100 and 200Kbps, is already live in 300 network sites and will be up and running in 1,500 by the year's end (I believe thats about an eighth of the total sites).

i think this model from SE might be the most user friendly in terms of hardware, coz it does not have that faulty joystick! btw, check this out new (concept?!) phone from SE! it has a 4mpx camera! but i dont't see any secondary cam for video calls..

Read the imaging section. Says "Open the lens cover" when it tells you about the camera :S

someone said below that they called Orange UK and they had no plans on releasing this phone...
Thats funny since Orange UK have teamed up with SE and Christina Aguilera and are planing to release the W810i before the other networks. thats why it keeps getting put back on when it is offically coming out.... try doing a search with orange/sony ericsson/christina.

Wat so good about camera cover? it makes it thicker and heavier. Even if u manage to scratch it, it doesn't really affect the pics at all.

To you Lucky Bastards that have this phone already, have you seen any flaws or bugs with it? I know the phone is perfect and I'm definitely getting it, but I just want to know what to expect if there are. Thanks.

Main difference between Bluetooth 1.2 and 2.0 is speed. I don't know the exact specs but I reckon that version 2.0 is probably at least 10 times faster than 1.2, making transferring music to your phone much much quicker. Seconds rather than minutes.
