Best fone i have ever used! & thanx to sony ericsson. My w810i always stays along with me even while i sleep ;) (listening to music @ bedtime)
very simple user interface, compact, excellent walkman & cam, Push mail, RSS reader etc etc etc.....
Only prob is that of the battery life. Having a spare battery wont be a bad idea for excessive users like me[;)]

I've heard that SonyEricsson stopped producing this phone, I think it's because they want their walkman phones Autofocus free!!!!!!!!!! One of their nastiest policy is walkmanphones will not have Autofocus even if it is as expensive as W980!!!!!!!!!

great phone but i'll be upgrading to n85 because i want bigger screen and memory
this phone does lag a bit now my 4gb card is nearly full
how do you people think its walkman + soundquality is compared to nokia's ?

This is a best mobile I saw at this prize with lots of futures compares to other mobiles. And 2MP camera's result is absolutely superb.

This is good substitute for the Siemens users. My whole phone book from my M75 was transferred easily by bluetooth, including all fields.
The sound quality is unbelievable. Picture (2MP) is better than Nokia or Siemens. Most of all its pretty handy from all point of view.
Wish me luck as a Sony Ericsson user.

this is the best phone i ever had. I droped from 1 floor and it worked perfectly no trouble at all. The headphones are one of the best i ever heard the subwoofer hears excelent. The camera its 2 MP but with good Front light it takes excelent photos like an 6 MP Camera.
The only trouble is that the memory stick looks that its going to drop and its easy to drop if you press it hard.
if you are not looking for a video call phone you should buy this.

Right well, i had swapped my W850i for my friends W810i for a while. its been about 4 monthts
In that time i really got to grips with W810i liked everything about it, it was awesome in every aspect from Music, Camera, and Telephony.
IMO the Best SE there is, only W902 can be its successor 100%
anyway i loved having the W810i it was great as iv said.
W810i is a Great Phone, reccomended to everyone who want Multimedia with a Great User-Interface and Telephony

Nice machine,i got it for about 1 year,unfortunately it dont opens word,p.point etc,apart from that is a great phone.

It is still at par with those of the new high-end phones currently released by Nokia and Sony Ericsson as well. I've been using Nokia N70 since 2007 but my SE W810i which is some months younger is better in terms of design, features and durability. The best SE phone out there.

the S60 in N70 is soo slow! and it takes ages to loads simple applications like Messaging ...i mean wtf
and Nokia's being the best? Not in this case.
W810i was way ahead of its time.
Nokia tried but never got to the level of SE's brilliant engineering.
