I don't know why but w850 and its brother w830 have a 1GB of memory stick not mentioned in their specifications!

OH i forgot to ask does the walkman scroll the names ot the songs or artist or albums if they do not fit inthe screen??

Hi people i visit this site everyday and i wanted to know from those who have this phone how long does this phone last while using the walkman,like i mean if you keep the player running without doing any thing else with the phone how long does the batt last,and does it have a option that asks wether you are going to use it as a walkman or a phone when you start it up sort of like the W810i???? please reply or e-mail me!

to alelong yes my fone got that below the down button and above it!! i took it back and they said they had no knowledge of this happenening 2 any fone!! then i pressed dwn and a segment of it came off

Hi! Can i know how many sms it can keep in the inbox? My N70 can keep a 1000...so i wanna know how many the W850 can handle. Thanks a lot!

ive just realised (about 2 days ago) that ontop of the down key theres a minor crack there, yet its hard to see. does anybody else have this problem? and does the warranty cover it?

I have had many handsets in the last 6 months, ranging from Nokia N70 ,N80 + Samsung A701. Currently I work in a Mobile phone dealership and I recently purchased the Sony Ericsson W850i, The best so far in terms of features and design. I absolutely love it. I would definantely recommend the handset to others.

Hi all!
Well out of all the sony erric handsets that i have had this has goit to be the best. The sound quality is absolutly auperb. The design of the handset is GREAT!. Ive got the W800i aswell and the sound on that is very good but its nothing compared to the W850i. Overall score 95%.

i sold my w850i cause i found the menu boring, slow to use, & i also had some black screens & freezing with it.
i don't like the way anything you save goes to the place the phone chooses i.e picturs to pictures, videos to videos etc. i like nokia phones cause you can add your own named folders in the memory card & put the bits where you want them to go!!

i buy this phone yesterday. what i was concern first is about the speaker. how can people says that the speaker is great? i think its crap...to much treble, the sounds is like nokia phone, lack of bass. im very dissapointed because i thought its sounds is good as many people here said. the sounds is just like n73. crap...
i also concern about the keypad. i think this phone was designed for woman finger, because the keypad is very small. im really2 disapointed. ROKR is much better than this phone, especially the speaker. i think i will sell this phone and back to my old rokr...

da screen go dark coz da light sensor was coverd or in a dark place...da sensor is rite next to da MS pro duo slot at da top....if u cover it...da screen wil go dark...if u open da screen wil go back to bright...
