hey gys i got this phone today in black ,very sexy ,gr8 phone but one thing i didn't observe it util i got the phone :there is no on the left side play/pause button so u can't play or pause in standby or in menu very sad for this . any ideas . plz help is there a substitute?

Every phone supports 3GP and i believe the 850 supports MP4(MPEG4) videos which can all be converted using ImToo 3GP Convertor.

I just got this phone, i totally love it! Does this phone support video? It doesnt say on the site but i see videos on my phone, just wondering what kind of format they were

does any one know how to change the snooze time on the SE 850i my alarm snooze time is defaulted on 9 minutes

Can anybody tell me how to lengthen the duration of message tone (mp3 format)... currently playing duration is around 9secs only.

singtel buys all d phones not only sony, and changes its setting and all. is not only singtel other lines company also do d same.

currently looking at getting this phone, i think it is great phone, and yeah does the slider get flimsy or loose?? and can u get cool clear cases for this phone..?

4 get autofocus ppl this phone is not meant to be a camera phone its a music device and fulfils that role pretty good

u can lock the phone just press the power button ..just like all nokia's :)
awsome sound quality + canal earphones..
the amp could be a bit louder though
slider mechanism feels a bit flimsy

i heard that the pearl white cover is tinted and likely to turn yellowish after sometimes, is that true?

I've had this phone for a while now and it is awesome, only small problems are:
1) delivery reports dont work.
2) cant lock keys with slider closed have to open and close again.
3) closing slider doesnt end a call.
All very managable for such a great phone. I believe there will be a software update coming soon from sony ericsson as usual for new releases to fix bugs.
Unfortunately theres no plan to improve software so that closing slider will end calls but hey no such thing as a perfect phone.

Darren88.........i think u didnt even check its specification it seams plane in pic but in black it is beauty ....and it have every thing..............els wifi and u didnt check its performance and sound quality.it is like huge power in your hand>>>and from lot of thinking .......nokia 6233 is better then w850 i am not saying that w850 is ugly it is beautiful then 6233 but in performance which is owerall to me 6233 is best.its sound quality beats the sound of N73...

When i slide the phone open there is a delay in the screen showing....any having the same prob?? its not such a bad thing but it didnt happen before. Thanks.
