nokia n70 is a smartphone instead of that w850 is a music based phone so its focused on music capability more than n70. N70 have a lot of features like edge,wifi,gud camera as well gud mp3 player but not like w850. If u wanna good music phone then this phone for u,if u wanna all rounder phone then think about n70.

to transfer your itunes music, open your itunes and drag the music to your phone's music folder...

Try this trick!! It'll make the W850i light effect lasting even the keypad is locked!!
1. Play a song.
2. Push ur slider up then down to enable the auto-keypad lock.
3. The handphone light will begin to off
4. Press the "c" button for about 5 secs just after the light is off and before the "sleep mode clock" appear
5. yeah...the light effect while playing song will long lasting!

i was thinking of getting a w850 as i really like sony ericssons and this looks great could anyone tell how it differs from
a w800 and how good they are

hey guys there is something called internet do your homework an u will know what u are getting personally i hav been comparing this phone with other brands of phone an it came up top in my personal view as for the sliding mechanism is common i call it wear an tear cya..........

got this phone about 5 hours ago love the looks and the features but can see what people are saying about the slider becoming slack all though i have no worries really recomend it

I absolutely llove this phone im getting it in a week next saturday me dad said im not aloud it until christmas but im gonna get me mum to have a word i have the pink motorola razor mobile and it is the worst phone i have evar had in my life but i can t wait until i get this mobile lots love sam xx

i bot the w850 solely for music and i must say am terribly dissappointed.cos i have used k750,w800,810,900 and the loudest in ear phone and loud speaker is the w900.but at least the w850 should have been louder than w810,800,k750 in terms of the ear phone sound quality.if u have never used any of se music phone b4,then surely u mite tink the w850 is the best but in truth its the worst when it comes to ear phone quality sound.even the k750 is louder especially in treble.so sick and disappointed.w850 has good sound just that its not LOUD like k750,w800 or the all time best w900...correct me if am wrong..

hi, i have had my phone for a month now and i think it is really good. however, i dont like the fact you cant zoom in when taking a picture. but other than that i think the phone is great and recomend anyone to buy it. xxxx

hi, i have this phone for like a week, and im very pleased with the phone. I have also a little question for other users. I had the w800i before this one, and the sound quality was just great (with mega bass). Very hard and nice bass. But when i use the Mega Bass with the w850i, it doest give that kind of a bass, and sometimes the volume gets a little lower when the bass comes then gets higher when the trebble comes. Did u experience the same thing? greetz Zeddy

hi i was going to buy this phone but it has way o many faults
1- rubbish slide it creaks
2- bad navigation key only for people with small fingers
3- Camera has no auto focus and the cameras just average
4- software freezes
but it looks good what a shame the quality of SE has gone down this phone couls have been perfect and those who have got it "no wat im talkin about" although their in denial!!!

i have had this phone for a few weeks ow and can say the loud speak isn't up to much... i used to have a w800i and think that one was much better thamn this speaker..
camera... doesn't matter what i try i cannot seem to get the camera to zoom? anyone else had this? i can get the video to zoom just not the camera for some reason.
software. i have this phone on orange and their software has totataly ruined the phone. they have installed their own functions and actually deleted the orignal sony ericssson theme! thats right no standard orange walkman them! they have also made some minour ajustment to all aspect of the phone which to me have made it worse than it was orignally... i would strongly advise anyone to flash this phone if they have it on orange! it actually runs faster with the orignal SE software as appose to teh orange branded.

to load mp3's just load the software provided and drag and drop them onto the phone.
too many messages will be your sent items folder which will most likely be totally full.
go to sent items and open it then click options and delete all.
