when ever i see this phone on the internet its always grey!!! i was wondering wether anyone knows if there is a good site where you can buy it in black or white!!

no you cant take pics of your self with the front camera!!!!!!!!!!

answer: NO, front cam is for videocalls only, back camera is for standard and self-portaits and video imaging...
please dont spoil the forum here...

Quite a few people asked about the two buttons next to the VGA camera at the front, as far as I know, they are both used as picture viewer buttons and secondly the button on the right is also used to power on the flash next to the camera, to perhaps use as a torch.

i want to buy this phone with white gold colour, can any body tell me if the camera is good as 2 mega pixel and the zoom is great and also video how is it and by the way its bluetooth version 2 or not

Well ive got it, and its ace, you want a camera, go buy one.......
You want a camera and a music player and a phone, get this!!! The camera is great {not k800i quality of course} and should not be compared to the K series of handsets! Is it better than the w810i? YES! its not laggy, its stylish and smooth, just like we all need to be.

Is it that i can only zoom when using VGA mode to take pic? What abt when using 2 MP and 1MP mode?

I dun find any problem wid d slide. It's fun playin wid it. Haha I wonder how ppl can exactly break d slide. Applied too much force on pushing d slide until it goes off? Dz kind of ppl is jz hopeless!

hi i have a motorola v3x "which isnt very good, very slow" but the camera is supposed to b the same as this one, the camera is good on the v3x but i dont want to down grade anyone able to compare the 2 please!
also wouldnt the pictures seem better on this phone dan the e.g. w800i because the w850i has a much betta screen? plz reply

hi, i bot this phone abt 2 weeks back in S'pore. Good phone. I would say almost perfect. Till now i haf close to 100 songs and it hasnt shown any signs of lagging. Probably add more to try and see if it lags.
Few questions for fellow users:
1. Can we fast-forward or rewind when viewing video? i dun sseem to be able to do it.
2. Is there any software to allow us to view mpeg or avi files? i seem to be able to view only videos taken by the phone itself.
3. Similarly, any programs or app to allow us to lock the phone when NOT in main page after sliding the phone down? Coz it doesnt lock it when we're in any other pages apart from the main page.

This phone is still excellent and working well, Ive had no problems with top navi button/hitting walkman button. Slider still strong etc...
I believe that this phone cant handle:
1) .mpg (mpeg) files
2) .3gp files (except if they are .amr codec)
other users please confirm

the w850 and the w830 are exactly the same apart from the fact that the w850 is a 3g phone and the w830 is not

Im not bein funi or anything but i always come on these to read abit about peoples opinions and you should read some of the rubbish people put...yes if you read something bad about the phone you've longed for then yes it is off putting and you will want to look into it more but i know for a fact that they are some bad comments on this page about this phone seying how it broke and is slow etc. but my last hpone was a K750i and i read what people had wrote about that and it was even worse i went for it and got the phone and it turned out to be excelent i had no problems no matter what with it! i was happy with my phone! so im advising you not not listen to other peoples views on this phone...trust me...just because somthing bad happend with their phone it doesnt mean the same is goin to happen to yours!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats aload bum fluff...that onli happens bout 1 out ov 8 people the chances ov it happening to ure fone are 0!!!!!!!!
