Just got this fone on an upgrade from 3, have to say that i have only ever had nokia and i will not be going back to them, SE have now proved to me with this handset that they could well be the leading manufacturers in the mobile industry. with top features i would reccomend the phone to anyone getting a phone anytime soon! the whole warping face pictures is a great idea and you can have endledd amounts of fun with your friends using it, The walkman quality is perfect have all ready put a good 4 albums on it, camera quality is spot on as a 2 MP,a cheeky little bonus for the wierd people that walking in the dark is that it has a light wooooo and if ya get in a spot of trouble ther is an sos light woohooo.perfect menu setup with lots of options to pick and choose how u would like your w850 to look overall! i will be rating it as a 10/10 phone and will not be goign back to nokia for a while, WELL DONE SE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!

Just upgraded to this phone from a W800i, shud b comin in couple of days cant wait. Phoned O2 at end of my 12 mnth contract to see what they'd do for me...after speaking to some unhelpful bloke who offered me a crap tariff i asked for my PAC code. Got put through to a helpful lass who evetually said she'd give me 200mins/900txt for £30 a month plus free phone an delivery. Its pays to ask nicely ;-)

I agree with you. the phone is great but it DOES have zoom on the camera though it is only available when taking pictures in VGA mode and not 1/2MP modes.

am torn between getting this phone and a w810.i still think W810 is cool but this (w850) has a cool keypad.anybody help?

a little bit heavy but a coup on the not so user friendly sroll button models.great key pad.

Hello everyone,
This phone is probably one of the best phones out there and definitely the BEST from SE hands down. I have owned the K750,W800i,W900i and this. This is by far the best. The camera is amazing, even w/o Autofocus. The only problem is there is no zoom with the camera, only the video camera. The Walkman feature is beautiful and is amazing. There is even a visualization feature. The phone moves faster than the W900i, believe me. The 3D games are even faster. I love this phone with my heart and am totally satisfied. In the U.S., reception with T-Mobile is incredible and internet is quick! I hope this answered your questions, I am happy to help you all on your phone buying decision. Hey bought dis fone but trust me its only worth its music nd cheap camera . Here is my review :-
good playlist organiser
played music thru ext speakers . Gr8 qual
screen resol sux sux sux.
No cam lens ,
restarts wen i select to play more than 10 tracks .
exits itself wen using gprs while playing music in back .
Tacky pad nd not much use of the backlight.
No auto focus
nd a lot more buggies than k800.
Slow reaction to men card reading,
pc functions too slow nd takes a lot of time to get detected .
Too costly .
Betta buy an i-pod at that cost.
Or go fer the w810 wid the latest firmware which will save u hell a bundle of dollars.

Bought a white 8505i last fri.
Now lying at service centre due to everytime phone restart, my shortcuts saved setting will automatically reset to default which is a bit annoying to me.
Video sound output from speakers not as loud as my previous N70 but when listening to music seems ok to me.
Can only zoom in in VGA mode and not 1MP & 2MP mode. Anybody know the reason behind? Or maybe I should pop up this question to service centre when I'm going for collection today.
Other than that, everything seems ok.
Can I play music on off power mode just the same like W800i?

Hey guys, I have a problem and I don`t know how to solve it. I created several playlists (folders with songs). After some time, I tried to delete a couple of them (i.e. playlists) but although the songs (mp3) which were included in those playlists were deleted, the phone cannot delete the folders. The folders now remain empty in the list of playlists. I even tried to rename the empty playlists but again no reaction, i.e. the playlists remain with their original name. Thinking that it must be a bug, I tried to update the software through SE support site but I was told that the phone has the latest software version. Any help or ideas is welcome. Thanks. By the way, the phone is cool...
