Call is not ended when you close the phone.
Ive got one question too. There is always an earth icon (internet?) in the top row next to signal strength indicator. What does it mean and is there any posibility to turn it off?

TO ANYONE WITH THIS PHONE:
Is it true that sliding the phone closed does NOT end a call (and there is no option to turn it on)?
-If so, then this surely is an error on SE's part?!

can tom tom be used on this phine with the use of a bluetooth gps reciever?
tom tom site says w810 is compatable.. so i dont see why it wouldnt work with the w850..

Got this yesterday from Phones4You in UK in 3 network (contract). Phone ofcourse was for free :) Everything would be great, just its very uncomforatble to keep in hand at first, but i need to get used to it. Up navigation key is OK for me as someone said its to close to Walkman key... Down nav key will take some more power from you to press it :) I would say a little bit too much.

i have had a play with this phone and i think its fantastic. The display is very clear and the camera is good. Walkman player just the best

How is it people manage to make such inane posts on this nice website?
Just picked up the white model of this phone. It is still labeled a W850 here in Hong Kong and is selling at the insane price of ~500USD. (no tax, thank God)
So far, I love almost every aspect of the phone save for 3:
-A2DP controls are somewhat overrated. My plantronics 590 won't start music back up once I manually stop it.
-Custom ringtones don't get piped through to the A2DP headphones and there is no option to enable it.
-Sliding the phone closed does not end a call, nor is there an option to enable it.
It would be nice to search tracks by genre, but as it stands, you can use the keypad to jump around, which beats the iPod, if you hate scrolling all day long.
Not sure that the premium over the 810 is justified with just A2DP, a bigger screen, and Walkman 2.0. I wonder if I could have gotten stereo music anyway, just without track skip controls? Seems to be the only advantage.
