can anyone help me out>!
actually am thinking of buying either the k800i or w850i.. this phone looks really good! can someone tell me more about this phone's specs and how it compares to other SE phone. i own a k750i which takes really good pictures, does w850i has the same picture quality as k750i? i also like that this phone is compatible with memory stick duo.. :D gud move by SE. coz the new memory card is still not very popular and thus, costs too much! what is the maximum capacity of the phone's external memory?!

hi,
adam, you say that the w850i will come out on the 8/10/06. This cannot be right because on the vodafone website it says september 06 as the relaese date.

yes it comes with a radio, the headphones act as the antenna :o)

singlelayer- yes it has
shaan- sound wise they will have different dynamics as the w810 is bar and the w850 is a slide. if you look at the speaker then you would expect it to have similar sound to the w800.
about the sharp. no contest w850 wins hands down

i think you cannot compare a Sony Ericsson & a sharp. The 850i's sound is much better than 810's..

Does anyone know if you'll be able to use instant messaging on this handset (e.g. MSN Messenger). I notice in the specs of the K800 and K610 that they both have IM.

karan sood-wat du you mean battery back up. onboard memory is 32-64MB. memory card has 1 GB
phill 6284- get the k800 if you want the camera. otherwise go for exclusivity. think about it. it is the first SE slider.

ravi- what is battery backup. and the w850 does have an image viewer. go to mobile review.com and watch the videos. the two buttons next to the speaker are for slideshow and picture viewer.
Malokounet- by the sliding cover do you mean the one that covers the memory stick? oh and the reason why it comes with memory cards is because it prevents malfunction of the phone. you know how people with high internal memory normally have problems with their phones after some time. it also makes it more convenient to share music in that way. better than borrowing your phone.
domoarigato- SE claims that now they can reach 4GB. within 1-2 years they will reach 32 GB which will be is projected limit.

Hey everyone. I was just joking. I know nothing about the phone except that it is EXTREMELY GOOD.. The box comes with a 1 GB card. Sony Ericsson is giving this as this is the best walkman phone ever and so that you can store many many songs.. They are not supplying a 1GB card because they know something in the phone may be wrong and to compensate for it. They are supplying it so that you can have many songs.

Yes Cezar u r right. No body should put foul language here. You should not buy this phone as my friend has it ( he is a SE employee) and he says the sliding function is very hard. SE have already finalised it but i know the release date and price but sorry i cannot tell you.. I can only tell you that noone should buy this phone though its looks awesome as i frankly have used it and it is not at all convenient and very hard to open the sliding function. The buttons are also very hard. So, everyone just think twice before u buy this phone. Thanks

What's the largest size of Sony Memory Pro Duo does the handset support? Is it going to 4GB (or 8GB by next year or two)?
