It amazes me how you guys keep asking these questions about which camera phone looks the best, the answer is NONE, All these cell phones use cheap lenses.. PERIOD ive got a nokia 1.3M, sony 1.2M and another sony 2M pixel phones and all outcomes are the same! Clear in the middle and blurry going out toward the edges. Nothing changes, i go to my sony digital camera and go to VGA mode and the picture is IMACULATE from the inside and out!! No blur's at all its all about the LENSE. And until these cell phone companies realize to put in better lenses, the pics will always come out half way descent. But then again its a cell phone camera.. How much quality do you really expect to get?? Try it for ur self, if u have a camera phone and digital camera, set them to the same resolution and snap the same picture and look at them on the computer closely....

hey guys,, my w850 cameras version was 3.0 but my sis k550 is only 2.3 what was the better version, the lower or the higher?? i dony seem to understand it??? pls help,,

when the phone is in the standy mode and you press a button is it normal that you see a lines at the screen when the lcd turns on?? it only lasted half of a second and after that the screen runs normal,, is it just fine?? or my phone suffers ribbon failure???

Greg, 06 Aug 2008OMG! this phone has better performance than samsung G800!!!... moreyeah!! this phone was very durable,, mine is 1yr 9monts, and still counting,, & im a horrible user,, i drop it countless times & still working the slide was still good, it has a lot of scratches already, hehe but still its fine,, i really like this phone and i still used it more often to my w910,, it is really a durable phone & still no plans of giving it up,, even though the navy pad cracks,,

Dani, 05 Aug 2008just be careful with the D-Pad thats the only drawback o... moreok,, thanks a lot!! you're opinion was really helpfull!! i really enjoy my phone right now,, its so cute specially when playing music,, i love the orange color of the navy pad, my friends dont believe me when i told them that it is already phased out,, yeah i know that the navy pad was this phones weakness, but although it has no effect to the performance right??,, yeah i will ill contact you regards to this phone,, thanks a lot!:)

well the phones good n all but for all u people considering it plz take note dat d keypad cracks!!
my friend has it n believe me it makes the phone look pretty ugly
its a pity a brand such as sony ericsson providing awesome music n camera would make cells dat crack this easy

OMG! this phone has better performance than samsung G800!!! except camera, but i barely used it. Now I use this phone instead hehehe nice push msgs from gmail is handy!!

Kevin, 05 Aug 2008Hey u guys i just wanna ask hows the batt life on this f... morenice choice:) this fone was very durable,, interms of performance it is one the best! try conparing it to nokia Nseries, sound features was great too!! no lagging!! nice pictures too,, even though it lacks auto focus,, the image is great!! video is quite nice,, but it gets pixelated when the scene is fast because it records in QCIF format not mpeg4,, the only weakness of this fone was its navy pad,, it is not just small but it cracks,, but still it works even though it cracks,, it has no effect to its performance though, for youre money, this is a great choice,, but the w910 was the best, if you cant wait to save & buy the w910, w850 was a nice option,interms of features specially durability,, pound for pound!! enjoy!!

Dani, 02 Aug 2008Performance is Unbeatable!! believe me the ribbon is tough... morethanx for youre comment,, i already have mine now and its white!! ,, and im happy with it! my friends also quite amaze with it,, hopefully mine will last as the ones that you owned,, i also imagine my self leavin with the cracked pad, it is the ONLY weakness of it right?? & i know mine will have it too even though takes care of it a lot,, i dont know what makes me fall with this phone,, maybe its unique hehe!! w910 was really the one if you want to upgrade interms of durability,, but im happy with my w850:)

In the previou... more ok,, thanx a lot!! youre opinion was really helpfull,, as a matter of fact, i already have mine now,, and im really happy with it,, even though its quite fat, i know its durable the way you say it,, ireally love it specially the sound,, it beat ipods!! camera is nice too, even though it lacks auto focus,, thanx a lot now my worries are gone, all that is left was enjoyment,, thanx,, by the way, how many times do you open and closed the slide in a day?? thanx!!:)

Dani, 02 Aug 2008K800i - older then W850i so doesnt have it K550i - has ... moreok!! thanx a lot!! i really do apriciate it,, im a night person, i really apriciate the amber light features of sony ericsson and im really happy that they put it to theyre phones,, i get annoyed blinded by the back light of the phones specially when im sleeping at night and somebody texted me,, with this feat, it really reduced my eyestrain,, thanx a lot,,

angela, 01 Aug 2008really?? how about the ribbon?? or the performance?? i have... moreI have owned the SE W850i for about 2 years. In the previous 2 years I owned 6 different Mobiles. Thats how reliable this phone is. There are no limitations to the size of file you can put on the phone, it will play full DVD Length movies and Tonnes more.
I absolutuly loved my phone. I lost it about 6 weeks ago now and I am finding it impossible to replace. I have to wait until October before the Phone I will Replace it with is available. But if I can't wait that long, then I will just buy another one of these phones, they may be 2 years old now but they remain just as useful and reliable.

my son has given me his 850i phone. I am not too sure about despite the good reviews it has. It seem heavy, and a bit cumbersome. Also its taking me a long time to put in my phone book. any help is appreceated

the ribbon is tough and durable mines lasted 2 years
but the weakest part of W850i is the D-Pad!, mine is badly cracked it still works fine, but it loooks really bad imagine a huge crack through it thats what it looks like..
otherwise W850i is a Great Performer Overall

K550i - has a TFD display so doesnt have it
W850i and W810i do have it, and all other walkman phones after

the phone only cost php 8000+ in the philippines im not sure if i'll get this or i450.. the thing is this phone got nice feature at a cheaper price (it also has cool designs)
