CP, 05 Jun 2008this phone really looks good especially when its still on d... morethats true.. i hv experienced the same problem.. another thing that i dont like is that there's no macro mode for the camera. and sometimes when i tried to open the menu too quick, it'll display the menu as F4:1234 or whatever weird digits instead of the "menu" word.
but overall the phone really has good features! and the best thing about the phone is the long-lasting battery.. if its not due to the probs i listed above, i'll rate 9/10.

bob, 02 Jun 2008ive got this phone but im bored with the menu icons can... moreyou can get a lot of themes at www.zedge.net but u'll need to register an account first.. but after that u'll get a lot of nice themes!

this phone really looks good especially when its still on display at any store but after few months of using it there were cracks in the navigator keys...i though that i just roughly used the phone but i saw 2 other phones which have the same problem.

firstly i heard tat SE has stopped manufacturin tis phone!! is it tru!!??

I'm getting frustrated with my w850, I used it for almost a year and now the down navigator key dosnt work anymore, in large messages I cannot see it in full bcause the down navigator dosnt work... Im thinking in buy another SE but Im not sure if I'd risk it again... maybe a nokia or... samsung... any help?

Had this mobile for a year, I can say that it has a strong body. since I dropped it about 4 or 5 times and still it works perfectly.
The slider mechanism is nothing but perfect.
If you put the W850 head to head with the N80, sure the W850 would ace the test.
I experienced some problems though.
Sometimes the mobile had to start its self for unknown reasons.
The sound quality is just perfect, although I found the volume is not really high!! (Want to find a solution 4 this problem)
If you are a file transferring freak, you won't be happy with the transfer rate that the included USB offers (it's really slow).
try to consider a memory card reader, it would be way much faster.

no more sony ericsson!
it sure has great features which can compete with other mobile phone companies and i even influenced some friends to buy a phone from sony ericsson coz i was so happy with my phone but my satisfaction lasted for less than 6 months only and the phone is not useful anymore...quality??? maybe i'll try some other brand.

really loved the phone when i got it..best quality when it comes to music..satisfied but only in less than a year..when i slide down d phone the screen turned white..brought it to sony ericsson for repair thinking it was just a minor problem because it never got wet or fell..i was so disappointed knowing it was the board that was broken and the technician told me if i'll buy a new part it is equivalent to a new phone..quality wise not that good..now i'm looking for a new phone but i'm choosing other brand.

Its true n73 is louder but its loudness has this noise or distortion.but w850 is very loud and sound quality of its speakers is perfect.best phone speakers ever made.
And theres no WOSD syndrome in SE.my bro & my friend had a k700 and they got it together and stayed with it for two years without a single glitch.i have the w850 and its been with me for over a year & its glitchless too.actually its perfect.& my use is pretty rough.plus w850 are well known for their toughness & durability.so if u managed to screw up urs then my friend u must be a horrible user.probably chuking it at people.SEs do have a problem with the headphone\charger jack tho.
