NOOOOOOO dont get it replaced,
the Display Flickers becuase W850i has a Ambience Light Sensor
Meaning it adjusts the Display Light according to the Lighting you are in......

..hav it for two wks already..and m really happy wid it..i wanted a w910i but i feel that ive made the right choice.. =)
..good features..
..no major prob so far, but i wonder y it flickers..so wat i did, i lowered the brightness settings to 80%, it still flickers, not that obvious though..
..should i have it replaced just bcoz of dat?..

My W850i just died (WSOD) after a little more than a year, the known White Screen Of Death of SE phones... I WAS happy with that phone but now i'm deeply disappointed with SE... I used to have W810i before my 850 but it also died after 1 month that I got it (same WSOD syndrome). Also, the headset/charger "jack" or "port" gets loose very easily... I would look this time for the standard headphone jack (like those in Nokia Express Music phones), I think that would be much better and less troublesome...

pretty much, ive noticed, that all SE phones get dust under their screens. but i still love em. this phone looks so tight, my pops is getting it for me! yeah!

without any modding the n73 is louder than the w850i but with modding it can be as loud as the n73 i dont know about louder cuz i have owned both phones but i think the n73 is louder due to it having 2 speakers so that makes it louder but a modded up w850i is same or abit lower than the n73 in loudness

The best phone ever u can make this phone louder much louder make the earphone volume louder the earphone louder change the battery icons the signal icon the volume bar and more add walkman skins make the camera better quality add patches u can make the phone work without a simcard and also add ur own walkman visualisations its just boring wen u buy it but wat u can do with it its just FANTASTIC, I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!! I RECOMEND THIS PHONE the camera has gone to a better quality cuz i upgraded it now my pictures look even better and battery life is great the orange light at the front is great 2

...W850i has The Best Sound Quality to. so its probably one of the best loudest phones on the Planet!

Well i have this pohe for 1 year already. Is a good telephone, 1GB well, i guess good enough for this phone. Overal performance is very good. The worst thing about this telephone is the camera.. 2 mega pix, yes!, but a B.I.G. but is that since does not have auto-focus, pictures comes out no too good really, specially if you or the person you are picturing makes a even a small movement the picture comes out terrible. If you are to be taking pictures of builbings, i guess this camera will work for you. Good telephone and audio, camera not at all.

i think you should buy w850....
it is r superb phone ever..
with superb music function...
top speaker!!!..
and i think 2mp camera is good enough for a phone....
never regret having this fon...
