the reason is becuase W850i has Walkman 2.0 and W810i has Walkman 1.0 so its output is slightly softer

hi ppl.... i had a sony ericsson w810i and got a w850i recently... loooovvvveeeee the phone,only one dissapiontment,i listen to alot of music and compared to the w810i,this phone is REALLY soft... was so dissapionted when i started listening to music.... howcome its softer that the w810? can anyone please comment on this.....

music player is very nice but the photo is not nice when compsred with other mobiles (the picture looks dull & dark)..& it doesn't have zoom option....
but in other features it is excellent excepy camera

3G is faster then those 2 in terms of data speed transfer and download !
and the speaker of W850 and W830 are the same......

Well this phone has HSCSD and W850 doesn't. As i understood, HSCSD is another network which enables u to transfer data at high speeds, kindof like 3G or EDGE. The W830 has both EDGE and HSCSD so now i'm asking, do those networks go hand in hand? and since the W850 has no EDGE or HSCSD, does that make its capabilities to transfer data at dependent on 3G alone? Finally, since the W830 have both EDGE and HSCSD, and the W850 has only EDGE, does that make the SE W830 better than the SE W850?
I'm also curious about the speakers, which one has the louder speaker? or are they the same.

my Memory card slot of Breaking..everytime i slide it open go to File Manager and then memory card and it says *No Files* ??
i have to take the mmc out put it back in then it works! ...weird problem but it happens alot now

This phone was great when I first got it, but after so many months of better phones being brought out, and my phone continuously playing up I have decided that this is NOT a good phone to get.
And I can't even upgrade as of yet. I am only 6 months into my contract.
GAHH
My phone turned itself off 5 times in half an hour.
One of those times being in the middle of a phone call.

so far this is the best phone i ever have had inm 5 years out of all the phones iv had this is the best of the best of the best ! seriously nothing can beat it Extroudary Walkman, Camera is great even with no AF Menu is Lightning fast even with a 4GB in it ! and multitasking never crashes.battery life is the best i ever seen.user friendly and never has Hanged in 2 years!!! no software problems no battery life problems. No Problems at all !!!!! SE really have made the best phone and it even looks Good....
what more do you want? ....its got everything ...il get new phones but il always keep this phone running!

plz feel lucky to have this mobile in ur pocket, oh man.. god created a man to creating this kind of mobile, am i rite? tecnology is getting better but as long as u keep this mobile in ur hand u'll never left behind, trust me dawg! i love this mobile, proud of ur self and mobile, fxxk nokia, samsung and motorola...

I've used this phone for quite some time and It's absolutely freaking brilliant. A friend dropped it once while it was playing music and absolutely nothng happened.no interruptions or anything, And i once accidentally sent it down a flight of steps, step-by-step! And nothing , no issues...It is definitely a fab phone. It froze once or twice on me when on the internet but thats was i think coz i tried to navigate a large page before it completed loading.
BUY THIS PHONE!!!!
