I'm ready for the upgrade next month, eyeing on this phone, as i'm a music pax.
Can anyone tell me whether the slide portion will get "lossen" eventually....? I hope not. Thanks.

i sold thise phone bcz it craked in the same place as all other people craked. but thise phone has been the best phone i have had and im been w/ lots of phones. !!! so i ordered it again i hope i get a 2007 model. the previous 1 i had was a 2006 model
best phone ever!!!!! (for now)

it just cracked. i have thise phone and the same thing happen to me. im very careful w/my phones . i think bcz i have 700 songs and 19 videos i need to go down to find whatever i want i press down 2much. but like i said im very careful w/ my phone.

Come on this was a valid question as alot of bluetooth headphones work great with calls and or seperate mp3 players but this phone's player is on board. Will I be able to use any bluetooth stereo headset with this phone? Or am I stuck with the sony erricsson ones which aren't that good.

ghel the d-pad (directional pad) is the same as the naivgation pad etc.. Its the buttons you use to move around the menu's and phone. In this phones case if you see the little play/pause button in the middle of the section under the screen and 4 little black dots surrounding it, that is it.

a kool cell phone , impresses the persons in its ist look, but the navigation keys, may b u r not much comfortable earlier unless u r use to it....black color is better , i think white color suites females more rather than guys.....

to ME the White W850i looks like a Bathroom Appliance.
but the Black W850i Reminds Me off the PSP.

In my opinion, the black one looks more refined. But when I saw a guy using this phone in white, it looks cooler than black. There are so many black phone out there, it's boring. People wouldn't know you're holding a sony ericsson W850i

yo ppl i m stil waitin..!!! js need a lil confirmation frm someone,i got tis phone 2 weeks back n to my surprise my phone is in VODAFONE version wit wher d original has a WALKMAN icon below wher u all usually slide the phone but mine's a VODAFONE icon ..LOL! so i hoping tat someone could tell me i did not make a FREAKING mistake by takin tis phone..
