I love this phone ! i've had it for a year and its awesome ... looks hot , is super fast and ive never had any problem with it . ive dropped it a few times but it works fine -doesnt get switched off or anything . luv it !

i used w880i from last 1 year.
and i have a problem of mic in this phone from last 4 months.
i contact sony's authorised service station at RAJKOT/AHMEDABAD[INDIA]. but they have no solution otherwise to change the motherboard of phone and it is very costly upto 80% cost of phone and it is not affordable.
SO WHAT TO DO?

Sony Ericsson 880 is a very nice cellar phone, all features that you want in a very tiny machine. However, the worst thing in this phone is the distributor in Saudi Arabia, Axiom company, the customer service is very very bad, people in the counter are very rude specially Saudi ones (!!) phones takes 30 days to be fixed (!!) workshops are always crowded takes hours to hand the phone for service.
I like the new release from Sony, I didn’t buy it because of its company, I don’t want to be in the same nigh mirror again with Axiom company.

I think a software upgrade may sort out the memory card problem. Take it to Vodacare/MTN/whoever you're with. I hope you'll sort it out.

hai guys...just wanna share my experience with this phone..for your info this phone can easily get heat up..im saying this because im using a tv mobile services frm my service provider..with a full charge it can stand about 2 hours for tv streaming using a 3G network..and then if u talk for a laong time also will heat the phone..i think SE should put a coolant system into it..hahahahha

thank u for helping with the song deleating thing.but now im in another fix.lately my phone has been appearing like there is no memory card in there.like i will open it and all it will show me are the things saved to the phones memory and & not the card.in a way it will be in its brand new state or like i pressed "restore phones settings".then i will switch it off & on again then it will be back to normal with all my songs & pictures.i never open my memory card slot so that means i never disturb the thing.whats the matter here?oh & last question:has anyone tried watching the full version tv?like subscribed?if so,how is it?the quality and stuff.iv only watched the free tv so before i subscribe i would like to know if i will get my moneys worth

Lungile, after you've done what I said earlier, select a different playlist, then re-select the p/l in which you've deleted the song. That song will no longer be there. This should work. I also have W880i and it works.

If already listening to the playlist in which you want to delete a song, click on stop, go to Walkman/playlists again, select the same playlist, click on more, and the delete option should be there. Good luck!

hi.can anyone in the sony ericsson world tell me how on earth I deleat a song from a playlist in the walkman!I mean honestly,all of my friends with sony ericsson phones have tried deleating songs only to have them sitting there again a couple of hours later.I thought it was my w880i that did this but we all have different models of sony ericsson phones and they DO NOT WANT TO DELEAT SONGS FOR GOOD!HELP!ITS REALY ANNOYING!
