hi.can anyone in the sony ericsson world tell me how on earth I deleat a song from a playlist in the walkman!I mean honestly,all of my friends with sony ericsson phones have tried deleating songs only to have them sitting there again a couple of hours later.I thought it was my w880i that did this but we all have different models of sony ericsson phones and they DO NOT WANT TO DELEAT SONGS FOR GOOD!HELP!ITS REALY ANNOYING!

after one month i cant play any game or application
when i open the game or application folder there is a note "operation failed"

This phone is the bomb, it is the best phone i have had in a long time. although the keys are a bit small, it suits my sassy personality. it is on a rating of 9.5 out of 10. i thank the producers of this phone.

There is one major bug in W880i Model.If we scroll the contact list upto the last contact in the list,then the phone turns automatically Off and restart after few seconds then searching for the carrier .

This foun is the butt of all jokes it's quite frankly rubbish....you can download some software from the sony website to update the foun but you have to keep doing it yourself..... why can they not send you upgrades directly to yo foun... the fools

im u sing this phone for a year now and its made my life easier its all in here complete but the keys are so small and it would not fit my fingers.. darn

worst cute looking phone ever. problems from day 1. now on my 3 repair, through insurence.
sound failure interupted connection keypad failure internet has not worked yet.messages donot arrive it doesnot ring or it does.
This wretched phone seems to be in its puberty and it works as it pleases.

Is it possible to put album covers on the memory card so that these appeal on the screen when the album is played? ("Album Art") Playing music you can find it when you press "more" "settings" "visual""Album Art". I've tried copying them with SY Media Manager. The covers appear on my pc but not on the phone.
The Help Desk of SY replied to me the phone has no support for Album Art :-(
Otherwise great phone wich nowadays comes at 175€ simcard-free here in Belgium.

Just got this on PAYG now its on clearance - only £90!
I've been a big fan of SE starting with the k700, and working through two K750's, a K800, and W580 - in turns delighted (when they get things right) and exasperated (when they get things wrong) - My experience with is, wait six months to a year before you get any particular model - by then, all the software bugs (freezing, crashing) and hardware bugs (cracked keys, odd colour tones with camera etc)have been ironed out, and you can enjoy the phone as the designers intended! Case to point - Got the K750 on launch and suffered 3 returns with freezing but loved the phone when it worked - about a year later was in between phones and when my network offered it again, took the plunge and was delighted - It's still the best phone overall I've ever used!
Ok back to the W880 - Slim and light, packed with features including great walkman, great battery life, what more do you want. No radio though boo but that would probably affect the size. Camera only so so, but I'm a photo freak so always carry a compact camera in my hobo bag anyway. If a decent cam is important tied in w slim size, maybe look at the new c902...

I have been very dissapointed with W880i. I was a big fan of the SE mobile phones but this mobile disspointed me. I was only able to use for 6 months before it stopped working. I was unable to get it fixed becuase they stopped producing the phone
