can anybody shed any light as to whether the music software on w880i is compatible with windows vista???? i have a customer who cannot load the software on vista and i find this strange as the handset/operating system are both new......????

well, I like the black better, but the orange cover is a bit too striking for my taste tough; and in esato forum, some users mentioned that after long use the black one has faded.Soooo, I decided to get the silver one.In Spain only the black one is in orange and unlocked,that is why I had to buy it in EEUU.

im buying the phone tommorrow and im confused between the black and the silver?? the problem is that i cant find the blck one here, its always out of stock !! i saw the silver one and looks pretty cool..what do u guys suggest?

by the way, can i add Spanish language to the mobile online, updating is not avilable so I was wondering.......A sat will cost me about 50 dollars!

my baby just arrived!!!! Jesus it IS tinyyyyyyy!!!!! and the keys are invisiblein this silver version.I know the black is more beautiful but the orange back and the "fading" provlem dome esato members mentioned made me change my mind.
It is beautiful!!!And tiny! And it wuld be prefect for me if it juts had radioooooooooooooo.Featherlight and clear screen, bit too small 'cause there is space for more.SEW will make a w888 with radio and bigger screen, just wait and see.

This is my first sony ericsson and i have to say this is a cracking wee phone. very stylish, easy to use, the walkman is brillant. Even though 2.0 megapixel camera isn't the best in the range its still pretty good. The only draw back is the buttons are a bit small, but thats a very small price to pay. Also the track id is fantastic, a real god send for me personally.
One pointer though, this phone looks a hell of a lot better if you order it in black and orange.

fantastic phone so far - i love it, it does everything i want it to...
except it keeps switching itself off!! something to do with knocking the battery cover i think...? (obviously just a tad sensitive!) this is the only problem i have with it tho.

It's not paying a Hefty price for this phone.. Motorola is going to release it's L9 which has everthing plus the best design and the perfect price. BEAT that.
SE phones has only BASS music,nothing else, listen to a song in motorola

Ok been using this for over a day. I've gotten used to the keypad, so all's good in that department. I've placed over a hundred songs in and it has very deep and full bass even more than my Creative ZVM! Excellent quality sound.
The charger's phone connector has a receptacle for the earphones or USB cable so you can listen to music or sync data while charging! Nifty feature!
Here's the truly excellent bonus: it has a built in Guitar Chord chart, Piano tone generator, and Metronome!!! Wow! I was so amazed when I saw it in my apps! If you play guitar or some other instrument, this will surely delight you!

Love the look, buttons are a lil small, but you get used to them, lacks a flash and the radio I miss. Is a bit too easy to knock the WAP thinggie on though! Other than that, I love the phone :)

This phone is not good at all:
1. clearness of the sound is pants
2. The camera's more like a 1.2 MP than a 2MP like what they say.
3. 3G is pants tooo :@
4. V quiet even at its loudest point on msg tone and ring tone.
Taking it back 2moro anyways,,, ANy ideas on what i should get ?

I sure will miss the radio, and will buy ANY accesory that allow me to have rds radio with it, but it is super small, light and superbquality built.good screen and fast software.excellent sound and a wonderful telephone.you can take it with you instead of ipod nano, plu gmaes, plus sms, plus phone, plus videocall and internet browsing!
too expensive, but I am selling my ipod.

If all people who wrote stupid comments on this site really bought the W880, than this model will be a big success for SE.The W880 is a fantastic phone made with very nice materials and it works fantastic. Wap, mail, sms and all what you want. the keyboard difficult to use ? come on. Nice move from SE

For ringing/message alerts, it's sufficient like my old k610i. For music, I doubt it because there's not that much space for a big speaker. With earphones - excellent sound!

could some 1 tell me if this fone is loud i see alot of complaints about the keypad but alot of people say alot of gd stuff about the desighn i aint no expert on phones could some 1 recomend a loud phone with gd memory and gd lookin
