and they offer you symbian so you can install a 'better' Music player then the 1 thats already built in....

and have you seen how XpressMusic phones are designed?
they look as if theyv come from a kids playhouse TOYS!

The speakers are fine on this phone. It is a really good phone but when i got it, and i know this sounds stupid, i couldnt get signal very often at all... whereas on my ol se phone i always had signal, even in trains! I didnt get a new sim or anything... bit of a mystery but i now looking for a new phone and i got this 1 less than a month ago. Any suggestions?

Zorro, 16 Jul 2008Your phone is probably defective. my screen is perfect und... moreCan anyone else advise me on this one, when your in a dark room does your display light go very dull, i have several phones and this phone would be not bad if the display would stay bright, i am with Vodafone so not sure if its a software fault as my girlfriend has same phone and her phone is doing the very same.When you cover the senso on the front even with your finger the screen so a horrible dull colour.

"Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Online Support.
Regarding your email about not being able to add files to existing playlists in your Sony Ericsson W890i, you is correct, you cannot add new entries to an existing playlist after you have saved it. You would have to create a new playlist."
Media Manager doesn't work, at least on my computers, so I must use Drag n Drop with files with related playlists (which was created from iPod backups).
Problem is that new files can NOT be added into existing playlists via that method since it will NOT be recognized (Must use SE Media Manager to update playlist with those updated files)!
What a pain!

The largest capacity currently is the Sandisk 8GB card. It works well with many other phones but the transfer rate via USB to the media card is very SLOW!!

VERY VERY POOR DISPLAY unless i am doing something wrong, just got the phone today and compared to my K800 the screen is awful and so dull, when the room is bright the screen is o k but in a dark room the screen has some sort of sensor thats makes the screen go very dull and horrible. DOES ANYONE KNOW CAN THIS BE TURNED OFF

Too bad SE doesn't consolidate some of them! Too many phones having too many similar features!
