bring it out in pink? - or any other decent walkman phone??? plssss?

hah!
This is a nice handset dimensions wise, looks wise and 'almost' function wise. Has the newer sony software on it, much like using a psp or ps3 if youv not picked the new software up and had a play yet. Onece again sony manage to leave off any kind of flash which makes the 3 MP camera pants unless of course your stood outside in brilliant sunshine! Texting is a hell of a lot easier on this lil gem compared with handsets like the w880 - its predesessor and the k850i which keys are so closely packed together you stuffed if you have sausage fingers! Id give it 8/10 simply failing on the camera and lack of decent photos.

When will sony learn they'd reach a much larger market if they weren't so bias about whether the handset is walkman or cybershot? - Ye you buy a walkman for the music, but this doesn't mean we dont want any decent other features... (ie. the W950!!!)

Wat's the point of having a 3.2mp camera without the features like flash, etc? Can't SE guys fare any better than this? lol

I bought the black from CTI-Miami. Price was high, but I had a window of opportunity to bring it in without paying duties and vat (45% taxes).

Soo.. I still saved in the end. :)

If I lived in the US, I would definitely wait for the price to drop.

It's not about having money, it's about getting value for money.

My only concern on all SE cellphones.... they keep on turning off by itself ie K550i,W850..etc and this phone! brought them to customer service and they did fix but after a month, it goes off again! SE technicians won't explain!!! I wonder why...

To peeps who keep on complaining about the price of this phone : It seems you are ab-normal coz why don't you choose/buy cellphones that cost only USD100-??? :) No one's forcing you ab-normal peeps!

loudspeakers are remarkably louder than K850.
I think something about 1.5 times louder than it.
In comparisson with W850, againg W890 wins!
But I didn't check it with other phones.

It has been only a week 8about)!

Wait a couple of more weeks and it will be 300 USD.

By the way, for some of us 100 USD is nothing - but show some solidarity to ones who can afford 200-300 USD and more importantly send a message to the manufacture not to be so greedy!

(it was released a week ago: 500 USD what SE was thinking????? )

Please tell me if you could disable the shutter sound on thsi phone. My K750 doesn't and it's crippled, I need a replacement.

MSNK: Did you try listening to the radio with your Bluetooth? Does it work? I guess you have to still keep the headset attached to the phone as the antenna. Please let us know. We're all anxious and waiting for. I'm asking this because you can do that in the W960i.
