the W900 is alot better than a K810, theres apparently going to be an Announcement of a new SYMBIAN UIQ phone code named Elena and it maybe named P700, its gna hav a 3.2mp cam, Symbian UIQ3.1 apparently, TOUCHSCREEN, VIDEO CALLING CAMERA, WiFi, QWERTY keypad and maybe GPS. its in the form of the M600 just with all those features added, thats what im upgrading to after having my W900 since August last year, i dont have sound problems at all with mine, maybe urz has a bug in sound chip or your speaker is loose, yep it gets slower the more you put in it, cant blame it thou it has a very low 108MHz CPU PROCESSOR and it already has to deal with a high power NVidia Graphics engine, otherwise im totaly in love with my W900 as ive said before

I got my W900 in april last year and have put a 2.0gb memory card in it. up to christmas it was fine. But the more you have on it the slower the phone is. I have to constantly delete my inbox and outbox for messages as well for the same reason. The phone is good due to the zoom feature for video recording but the sound qaulity is terrible. Have tried adjusting the settings but it makes no difference. Considering what to get next as due upgrade in sep 07. I like the look of k810. any ideas?? I'd like to stick with cony ericsson.

Yep its made for Java phones,its mainly made for SonyEricssons go to google an type in MeBoy Java Emulator it should take you to the site where you can download it, ive got it but i havnt installd it in my phone its just in my PC

i didn't play it. I'm actually just now that there is GBA emulator for handphone. LOL. My cousin told me that in his university the collegian play pokemon in their handphone. ahahahahahaha.

yeah.... the GBA emulator is awesome
what kind of game do you play??? I usually play pokemon in my 6600 which the extension is the same as pokemon in computer....
GBA emulator in 6600 actually is in the symbian format, but I hope one day someone will made the emulator for in java format....:p

do u know if sony ericsson phone (w900, k800, etc)can be installed with v-boy (emulator GBA for handphone). because here Nokia can use it even Nokia 6600.

a frend of mine has a W900 with 2GB mem stick with no problems, whats wrong with yourz? the last firmware update of the W900 was middle of last year before the W900 was discontinued i thnk the firmware was R5BE sumthng like that

I've ask before for the new in Sim Lim square Singapore, the price is S$800 when I bought it in Indonesia at about S$650.
It's hard to found the new W900 now
but the second hand is S$450 in good and complete condition. if you want the cheapest W900, go to Batam island and the price is below S$450 in the good and complete condition. Actually the second hand phone in Batam island all were come from Singapore...

Has anybody ever had a problem using a 2gb memory stick with the w900i, because it's giving me afew problems. Also can somebody tell me when was the last time that sony ericsson updated the firmware. THANX

When i put my w900i on silent, there is no camera sound. Have you tried it on silent?

lol im also in 4th year of high skul this phone is perfect for you trust me, brilliant video recording/playback, alota mem dats expandable, radio,gud camera, big screen, realy loud speaker etc. . . its perfect for us

the W900 (unfortunetly) was discontinued middle of last year due to poor sales,expensive parts and the fact that its built in Japan made everythng worse i guess, also becoz uhe W900 was a testing field for SE phones that run Graphics Engines,another reason was becoz the phone was exclusive to Vodafone for its first couple of months out and WORLD WIDE sum networks never even got it and some countries never got it and that all equald to low sales, but some countries like indonesia wer stil selling new units
