Bought new Sony Ericssion W 902 yesterday....Sounds Absolutely what i was looking for...Gr8 MUSIC system...5 MP Camera....8 GB CARD...
Bad Points: Feels lil Uncomfortable with the left side Jack….down side would be more superb….

Very expensive and no 3.5 mm jack. SE phones are going down and I wouldn't be surprised if they go bankrupt.

Anonymous, 28 May 2009need to decide what to get w902 or w960. i like that the w... morei have both phones you've mentioned in your question. my advice is that depending on your purpose for buying the phone. i bought w960 because of its wifi feature and w902 for its picture quality. both phones have a fantastic mega base feature.

Good:
1. So far it has a good quality picture in outdoor specially in sunny day. Very good with 5MP camera.
2. Great equalizer sound, highly recommended for walkman phone users.
3. Good package with 8 gigabytes memory.
4. Great design.
5. Functionality is good, controlling the music is very accessible because it has buttons for play, forward and back which is very useful for me.
6. Autofocus camera is one of its best quality.
Bad:
1. No wifi, well it doesn't matter if you have laptop.
2. No 3.5mm jack, that's why I bought a SE bluetooth headset.
3. Slow response time in any action, maybe because of its huge memory
4. Shake control is useless...its not user friendly.
5. Bad quality picture in the dark compare to K800 with xenon lights.
6. It hangs sometimes, maybe its normal in some phones with seperated memory.

Hey people, I'm using a mac to upload music into the music folder of the memory card.
When uploading large music files (like 4 hour livesets) it only loads 1/3 or 1/4 of the whole file on the walkman player.
When reaching the end of the time appearing on the screen it keeps playing stating -0:00:00.
When I pauze it or when I get a phone call the file resets and starts playing form the beginning again.
I would like to hear the end of these sets once in a while!

i like that the w902 is slim and it is like a upgraded version of previous walkman phones.
i like the design of the w960 better and it has wifi but i dont really like the touchscreen part.

Wish Sony phones would have the function to browse thru your opened messages by just scrolling right or NEXT instead of getting out of the message and opening the next one again. Just ease of use and convenience for those with a lot of messages.

this phone is not worth its price due to the crisis going on. this unit is awfully expensive. and no builtin 3.5 mm jack - forget it. competitors out there offer better features for less cost.

Sony Ericsson W902:
SO GOOD:
-Sound quality
-Camera
-Built quality(GSMarena said something about the back cover if I've not mistaken, but I haven't found anything wrong with it when I checked the phone)
-Good supplied earphones(even though it isn't 3.5mm)
NO GOOD:
-Good autofocus lens,but no lens cover(even though it's not a Cyber Shot, if they can do it on the W800i Walkman, why not do the same on this?)
-Non standard M2 memory card(it's not much of a problem to me, but I would've preferred the standard microSD)
-Earphones(Superb sound, but it's a heartache if you loose the 3.5mm adaptor)
