I love my w950, i honestly love everything about it. The music player is the best i have used. The touchscreen format is brilliant for me. Internet is quick and clear.It is very user friendly, any bad reviews on this phone are about silly little niggles which have no real bearing on the phones performance and are down to people not wanting something different. I believe Sony Ericsson have created a truelly innovative phone here and should continue to develop new ideas. The lack of a camera is of no significance, ask yourself how much you really used a phone camera as opposed to your own digital camera, but a music player of this quality will be used daily on a phone.

Hi, I have few questions. Someone please reply:
Whats the most current firmware update? I updated mine a week ago and it say:
CXC 162037 R9EC001
How do I enable A2DP? I have a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth handsfree which works fine as long as calls are concerned, but when I goto walkman and select Transfer Music, it doesn't give me the name of the handsfree. How do I do it?

This phone is aboslute rubbish, i got it with a contract, and belive me i can't wait till it ends, the phone restarts every so often saying it restarts to improve performance, how fustrating! teh video viewer freezes everytime, i try to use the instruction manual/ resources in phone...says topic does not exist, i try to use track id, does not exist in my phone...some application does not work, only good thing is the touch screen...fast for SMS, 4gb internal...and the music player, but every so often the music player crashes and there is no sound coming out of the phone and the time bar continues to move even though the songs only 3 or 4 minutes long...how confusing !...man...don't buy, i suggest a N95...thats what i'v ordered...!

Hey i was thinking about choosing the w950i i. Bt i need to knw somethings like does the phone have a camera? and how loud does it play? Is it a good phone to have?

Just got this phone, it's quite impressive hehehe, i liked alot, as many ppl said the speakers aren't so loud, but all the other features is just great. No problems using this phone, i did the update at sonyericsson website and everything is running perfectly.

well...RAM is very fast in this phone...its very quick...it never get slow...on some occasion it does get restarted but again if you load to many of application then its quite obvious tht iits goin to restart...battery life is good i have never found any shortage of battery...and about songs organisation...one has to first put the details name in mp3....then you have to go to walkman and update music....then you can organise songs on the basis of artist, album, year and many more but as i told you one has to put all this info in the songd trough any media player...i use window media player 11 and thourgh that i add pictures, title, album name, artist name and every thing and then later on use all this for organising purpose.
and yeah gaming part it really good...its outstanding...i have loaded many UIQ 3 games and it amazing...piture qulity and grphics are just mindblowing...as i said only one majoy let down of this is phone is its speakers...which is not that really gr8 as expected.

sound is very good, MegaBass is rockin, A2DP is great, but i think n91 is defintely better even though im not a fan of nokia. I`m not pleased about battery life, in combination with the great Sony MPS-Speakers the battery is down very very fast. RAM is good, bootin doesn`t take too long. what i dont like about this phone is creatin new playlists, its disappointin how hard it is compared to the K800. All in all its a very good combination of organizer and mp3-Player but not the beast i expected it to be...

Hi, is it possible for me to do this?:
Artist Playlist > Album > Song List
So that way i can quickly choose the artist and all of their albums are there? Or do i have to create separate playlists for each album? Sorry if it doesn't make alot of sense.

ive found the A2DP great, its not that loud thou, sound quality is perfect but not as loud as N91, ive not realy used M600 just hald it in my hand,but i here this has little bit more RAM on start-up than M600

TSEPZ and/or other exprienced users,what are yr overall impressions over this beast?
How is the AADP?
Is the difference between N91 and w950 is too much in sound quality?
How is its battery life?
Is its RAM is as fast as M600i?

well guys i have been using this phone for last 3 month and i think is gr8 phone
Good Thing about w950:
-Music is outstanding...really out of the world....its better than ipod in terms of clarity....it so superb i mean ipod not even near to this one....sound is really gr8...totally outstanding
- you will not feel pain while listening to song in this one...i mean this is the reason they but the volume to the best.
- its fast, qucik, easy to operate, and you can install any symbian and UIQ software, tht is the main advantage of this cell.
-it have so many features ....loads n loads of feature
Bad thing about w950:
-Output sound is low...really very low...i dont wat this people has done with the phone it worst than n6600, i mean volume is so less that you will start feeling does this phone worth so maney.
- camera....anyone would have expect camera in this crazy technology world
- price..quite high...but it worth.
so overall phone is good...and the reason why they have not put the camera in this is simply bcoz of ...if they would have put camera then it would have made cell very slow...just to avoid those crashing n stuff they avoided camera....otherwise it good to have phone....
too be frank i have not missed camera since the time i bought this phone...music is so good that you forget camera while listening to it.

i think this phone is great but should seriously have a canera i mean c'mon 4 gig and no internal i so want this phone but my peeps dot wanna buy it cause of the no camera thing..
