Why are people pointlessly leaving posts complaining this phone is poor cos it doesnt have a camera. If you want a camera phone, go buy one and stop posting about phones that are irrelavant to you

950 seems good but only just upgraded from 600i. DO NOT buy a 600i!!! It has a software glitch where if you set it to the GMT+9.30 (Adelaide/Japan) time zone, the phone will unrecoverably crash. I went through 5 in 4 months and that last statement is from the techs at SE.

The design are great. Sleek n simple. This model would be great if added 3.2 mp camera and memory card slot. I dont mind if doesnt have touch screen and big internal memory. As long as it have camera and memory card slot. It will be my dream phone. Hope Sony Ericksson will come up with new improve specification for this model.

@ kamar
hey there fellow W950 user..
i have some problems here with my phone:
after uploading some songs onto the phone, updated it, and when im browsing through the albums, it sure takes some time for the album art to load, but this time, the walkman app suddenly closed by itself with an error message as written below:
kern-exec
reason code 3
few months ago i had the same problem, i restarted the app and the album art showing up after all.. but now every time i browse through the album section, the error message kept coming out.. how to solve this problem??
will this worsen the phone's performance?
reply ASAP when u're free
and thx in advance for your help..

i have w900i and w950i as well but the sound quality of w900i is better. another problem with w950i is the that ringing tone is not loud enough.

I have the phone for few weeks now and I think it’s a nice phone. The music player (walkman) software is not user friendly though, such as creating a playlist is not that easy. The screen still suffers under sun light though! The battery life is not what I expected and I am bit disappointed as a result. I will get to know the phone better as time progresses because I don’t get much time to fiddle with.

In my opinion below, I meant to type in "W950i", not "W850i". Sorry.

Sarah, I'll advise you to get the M600i for the folloing reasons:
Yes, I'll admit that as a music phone, it's excellent. If however you text a lot or send many emails, I promise you that you might find it frustrating. The QWERTY format of the M600i is a joy to use.
Secondly, as per the memory, there are 2GB and 4GB memory sticks for the M600i, in addition to the internal 80MB. I'm not sure that the W950i 4GB is a hard drive as James said. From all I've read about the phone, it is a flash memory.
Using the M600i with one hand is much easier than the W950i. For example, you can dial a number on the M600i without touching the screen by simply pressing "ok". No such joy on the W850i.
I'm a SonyEricsson fan through and through, but as between these two, I'd go for the M600i.
