I own an iriver and an ipod, tbh I tend to pick the iriver up more than the ipod! Obviously it deppends on what price you pay for your player! An iriver costing £50 will not sound as good as an ipod costing £200, but like for like on the price I have to say- the iriver does sound better!!

So the only reason not to buy this phone is because it doesn't have a camera!!!! How often will 'most' people use a camera on a phone anyway?!?!

    i suggest not to buy dis fon,not worth...No camera...tat is the worst thing...big memory is not all for hp nowadays..

        I don't think Iriver could come close to Ipod's quality, not even creative zen or any brands out there, they just only make rivals in functions and price but not in quality... i may want a review on both Ipod and Iriver(also to other brands like toshiba,samsung, network walkman, and new microsoft and creative) and to prove all Ipod users if the iriver is better than Ipod...

            To Tzr... WHAT THE HELL KIND OF iPOD WHERE YOU LISTENING TO????????????? I have a nano and my brother has a video and I havent heared anythinhg to rival the sound quality. Sometimes things come close, but they never beat the 'Pod

              I admit that iPod is gorgeous device but I am very disappointed from the sound it delivers
              I was comparing the sound of iPod with a Nokia 3300 (very old Nokia model) and surprise, surprise … Nokia 3300 won! (It is my subjective feeling of coarse) On the other hand I was having 6600, 3650, N-gage and having Symbian on a phone is most rewording experience!!! And in the end The Camera!!! I had couple of important images taken with a camera phone and later when I saw them on a computer I was so disappointed that I made promise to my self that I will never buy a camera phone unless it has min 5MP( even than I will think about it) So NOW tell me One Good Reason not to buy this absolutely gorgeous m… f… PHONE!!!

                  I've now owned this phone for 2 weeks and I have come to the conclusion that I have a mixed review for the phone. THe buttons unfortunately are pretty small making typing with my fingers pretty difficult. I've relied on using the stylis to type most of the time. The phone itself is beautiful, and the FM radio is a great bonus. I do wish the volume was louder though. Other than that it's an unbelievable phone

                    I ordered a SE W950 a few days ago and will be receiving it in the next few days. I used the p990 for a week and wasn't all that impressed. I suspect that I might have problems with the 950 when it comes to messaging. Just from the point of view of feed-back/key response. Also, when using the stylus does you wrist/hand rub against the keys and thus register key strokes. Comments from people who have actually used the device would be appreciated. Also, in the same theme, are there problems with making calls by accident when the phone is in your pocket etc, or have SE thought through key locking etc properly?

                        This is a perfect phone. Can't help wondering about all those that complain about the lack of a camera, do they own a cameraphone? - and in that case, have they ever thought about how many pictures/videos they shoot and then actually use??? I'm into my third camerphone, and all I've done is taken a few pictures to use as backgrounds. Real pictures are taken by real digicameras, not by phones. Maybe it'll change in 2009 or so, but lack todays of optics, real zooms, flashes, image processors make current cameraphones look like neanderthals, even compared to cheap dedicated cameras. For me this marvel finally delivers something phonesize (as opposed to bricks like Nokia communicators or SE990´s) that will replace both phone and PDA (Palm in my case). And add a nice iPod too...!

                          k then get a sony mp3 player and glue it 2 a decent mobile phone (wid a camera) even if de camera is crap at least it has 1 :] LOL, ive got de E70 and i think it owns every sony ericcson de only gd thing bout dis (phone) is de 4 gb nofin else and btw realplayer is better than walkman lol dis phone is a waste of money LOL

                                  hey which type memory does this phone have?? i mean the 4 gb memory, is it microdrive like N91 or is it internal flash memory?

                                    How anybody can compare this to an ipod, sony sound quality goes to town on an ipods, ipods eq causes too much gain on mp3s and ipods flat sound response does not help mp3 at all. ipods sound rubbish even with a .wav in them. I feel sorry for the poor ignorant people that own them.
                                    Sony 950i may have no camera, but if that doesn't bother you, it is by far the best sounding player on the market.
                                    I had an ipod for a month and could not put up with the horrible piercing midrange any more, I tried high quality type files of all genras and apple really are exploiting people who buy with there eyes.
                                    If you want an mp3 palyer you want a sony...and you get a phone with this one too.

                                        dis phone is soooo crap u cld get an ipod 5 gb and glue an k sony erisson on it, plus it will b cheaper dnt u think?
