hey anybody could help me !! my w960 playback buttons doesn't light anymore ! but they are doing their job ! how can l make them illuminate again??! btw (the buttons under the screen & above walkman button)

Hi Guys, I have puchased this phone 2 Months back, The Battery is not getting charged fully, But when I plug to the charger it indicates charging but the battery is not getting charged fully after 8 hours even, please advice guys!!

guys,don't buy this phone..the major problem of dis fon is the touchscreen..it's so sensitive..mine is already broken n i only used dis fon 4 3 months..

Anonymous, 16 Feb 2010my w960i hangs up all the time... how do i fix it..? Always keep phone memory free,try to close all opened application and function through task manager,if not try from setting wizard,finally if not still ok than go for master reset and also try to format the inbuilt 8gb memory after copying all to computer some time virus also affect the phone.

I bought this phone 2 years ago. My biggest problem with this is that when I play some video or view some pictures after sometime it will restart and it takes minutes to rstart the phone. I dont know what to do with this phone.:-(

I've had this phone for over 2 years now and it's served it's purpose well! Had problems with it hanging/rebooting at first but after a fireware update (free from Sony Ericsson website!) it worked a treat!
the only negative point is the fact that it slows down with the more apps you open (messaging/contacts/web/walkman etc...) but I supopse this is to be expected with the 200 mhz cpu! Although saying that I've found that if you open the "task manager" (top right icon) and close the apps your not using it speeds up again!

I've had this phone for about 6 months now and as a constant mobile changer, I have to say this is a pretty hardy and a reliable mobile. It does have negative points such as hanging and being slower than the phones in the market nowadays. But overall it's a good companion. Has a array of useful features and have to say that I find SE UIQ3 way more useful than the interfaces in Nokia (I used E71 and 5800 before W960i). And the music is absolutely superb. Wifi works good too. Good work SE... iron out few problems and you will get a solid handset. I will not be parting with my W960 for a while......

It was my dream to get this phone! And now i have it in 2010 :D Its good, awesome sound and OK camera..sometimes the interface is a bit slow..
