The gsmarena review of w960i is actually of a prototype, not the actual thing, as is shown by saying it is unable to order tracks alphabetically, which is a lie. Come on nick, divert your energy to something better. you are wasting too much time here

haha, this review itself says how crap the w960 is as a music phone (well compared to a nokia smartphone which isnt even a dedicated music phone)

          @ Mariam

I've never tried but I wouldn't expect so. The codecs that your PC uses to decode the videos won't be present on the phone so it won't play the videos. At least, that's my understanding on it, but I could be wrong. I know Vodafone customers can view a mobile version of youtube through vodafone live though...

              @ Mariam

It won't cost if you're using wifi but if you're conencting using GPRS or 3G then there probably will be a charge. All depends on what O2's data browsing charges are, you'd need to call them...

TO Reddy: Yes it can. ive installed opera mini 4.1 beta on my w960. it still lacks flash plug in. so you cant view any flash websites/files. but its works fine though. not bad for basic web browsing. (checking emails, etc.)

im still waiting for the beta release of skyfire..

I'll be honest, I've got no idea. I didn't even know it was out, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work...

                          @ Zed

Yeah, as long as wifi is activated, it's the default connection. The globe will still be there as you have a web browser window open. Remember you can check on your connections by tapping the arrow in the top left, then connections, then connection manager. This allows you to keep track of how much data each connection has sent or received. You can reset the info by bringing up the 'more' menu. Reset it, then do some browsing using wifi and then check the info for your wap connection - it should still be at zero. I had all the same doubts as you, dude. Now I'm using the wifi on my phone more than my PC coz I can do it from the comfort of my couch...

                            @ Revenant

                            Just download opera 4.0.
So to confirm if I open Opera or go in through web, as long as wifi is activated and connected these will use wifi as default.
Also when doing this I know the wifi symbol will be up top on the left, will the globe one still be next to it ?
                            Thanks for the info man.

I know that in the UK, vodafone sell the handset on prepay for £400. I got mine on a £35 a month contract for free...

                                @ nameless and zed

i had the same worries, but you're absolutely correct. if wifi is enabled it automatically overrides wap. and it's much faster. zed, i'm with VF as well, and yeah, you're right. but i just use the shortcut from the home screen. If you want an even better web experience download opera mini v4.o from www.getjar.com

i am on the phones wifi right now and it is pretty good. for the people who want to know how to use wifi just connect to a network using wifi and go on to web. it will automatically use wifi. it took me ages figuring out this! its quite a complicated phone. but it has amazing features that even the n95 doesnt have like the handwriting recognition ! battery life is extremely good . and remember to enable wifi before going on to web. thanks. mariam
